In a 12-team Yahoo league that I'm in, my friend was bounced from the playoffs on Sunday (Top 6 teams get in, he had the same record as the 6th seed but he had 4 total season points less than him, so he didn't make it). Yet somehow, today, a yahoo point total correction created a 6 point swing and pushed him 2 points over the 6th seed and into his playoff spot. Obviously this is huge for both teams, and huge news for the league, and while I don't doubt the legitimacy of Yahoo's scoring, I'm really curious to know how this happened. Is anyone aware of any point totals of players from Yahoo that got changed this past 24 hours? Here are the starting players on each team from last week...
Made the Playoffs: QB Brett Favre, WR Chad Johnson, WR Plaxico Burress, WR Deion Branch, RB Frank Gore, RB Travis Henry, TE Alge Crumpler, K John Kasay, DEF Chicago Bears
Missed the Playoffs: QB Marc Bulger, WR Reggie Wayne, WR Donald Driver, WR Devery Henderson, RB Rudi Johnson, RB Fred Taylor, TE Todd Heap, K Adam Vinatieri, DEF Dallas Cowboys.
Thanks.
EDIT: I just saw a post down the page on the Chicago Bears D for Yahoo which answers my question. If no one has any additional information this thread can be locked I guess.
