I haven’t watched a news network (with the exception of election nights) in well over a decade. But given your criteria I’d likely go BBCLet's say you are going on a date and need to impress, or speaking to a group of intellectuals, or maybe you need to answer a quiz accurately for a lot of cash. Which one network will you watch?
Inquiring minds want to know.
That's not an option. In this hypothetical...you can only pick one.All of them really. I am not staying loyal to any source.
Ohhhhh...Hmmm....Then ReutersThat's not an option. In this hypothetical...you can only pick one.
Ugh...Kinda agree. The few links I get on my newsfeed that are CNN links seem to be dialing up the fear.BBC/Fox for me
I've been browsing CNN just to see the most terrible takes/coverage.
really, really bad.Ugh...Kinda agree. The few links I get on my newsfeed that are CNN links seem to be dialing up the fear.
Yeah, I don't watch often, but it's a good show. Great recap of things going on around the Country & World with very little Biden/trump/Hilary. Like what news shows used to be like. Not to hijack but has anyone watched Shep Smith on CNBC? I've caught his show a few times and liked it. Haven't made it a point yet though to watch.
I'm going to research this Naked News. Be right back.Other: Naked News on Pornhub. Far more entertaining and enjoyable, and just as accurate with the news and anyone else
Love George. He's an expert on COVID and climate change too. From Facebook. This guy named George. We went to high school together. He posts articles that tell the truth that THEY don't want you to know.
Terrifying.Per the poll, BBC.
But, as much as this scares @Joe Bryant, I actually would come here first and review what's been posted.![]()

He stays at a holiday inn express every night. Dude knows everything, and simultaneously thinks we are all idiots.AND foreign policy since this morning.
He's just so smart![]()
All three of these seem like very different scenariosLet's say you are going on a date and need to impress, or speaking to a group of intellectuals, or maybe you need to answer a quiz accurately for a lot of cash. Which one network will you watch?

I don’t understand. What would scare me and why?Per the poll, BBC.

There's a great many here that can't quit it. Addiction is a ##### .....I really only watch the news on election night so abc or nbc. I usually flip between those two for results. Nothing seems more grim than watching cable news every day.
You have previously expressed surprise that some posters would use this board as their primary news source. I was being hyperbolic with the use of “scared.”I don’t understand. What would scare me and why?
I just signed up with Reuters as I apparently used up all of my free articles. As for TV coverage, CNN & BBC. Maybe some NBC.
Not to hijack but has anyone watched Shep Smith on CNBC? I've caught his show a few times and liked it. Haven't made it a point yet though to watch.
Same. First actual news program I've watched in a long time.Voted other. Shep is da man. Great news show.
Unfortunately that is the 5-hour block of prime time viewing. For actual news I think most of these are fine. It is when you get to the talking heads that you start veering into crazy town.

I watched some CNN and Fox last night. CNN was unbelievably bad, fox not much better. Carlson really sounded bad a couple nights ago sticking up for Putin also.
Usually i watch off the fire stick. I misread the question as US info about the conflict.Gave up CNN, MSNBC and FOX years ago and never looked back.
Doesn't mean anyone needs to actually watch it. That they get 5 hours of air time on as many networks as they do is an us problem.Unfortunately that is the 5-hour block of prime time viewing.
This isn't wrong, but this dynamic is also why misinformation spreads so easily.I have been watching as little news as possible, honestly it's all slanted and they are woefully behind when getting information to the public. Twitter as an example has far more updated information and you will find that many times on a news channel they are running online clips from hours/days ago.
Fox-The Five, 1st segment and that's only maybe once a week, if there's a really big news story like the one unfolding I might watch more often.
Fox Five yesterday had an outstanding young journalist in Kyiv as things are unfolding and he was about as good as I have seen in a while. Now the fact he is in Ukraine while the missiles and bombs are incoming likely has a lot to do with it, the material is pretty pulpy at the moment.
Trey Yingst is the journalist, looked him up.
Correctamundo! This isn't wrong, but this dynamic is also why misinformation spreads so easily.
