Forgot to mention if the Nazi wants to charge the mound over this, so be it.  But I gotta be upfront: my goal at that level of altercation is creating contact spikes-up in the genital region.  If a Nazi charges my mound, the Marquess Of Queensbury can toss my salad.

Again, my reason for "no" is because he's not worth it. No punch = no publicity, no propaganda, nobody knows who this moron is and nobody cares. A punch in the face, while satisfying = front page news, threads on every Internet forum, and an enhanced platform for his propaganda.

Im sure there's been quite a few Nazis that have marched and spouted racist rhetoric in the past (lets say) 50 years. You know their names?  Nope, neither do I because no one has given them the attention they desire.

"We need to stop giving handouts to lazy people" = no punch

"I have a very strict interpretation of the 2nd amendment" = no punch

"[insert name] is a commie socialist etc = no punch

Also, I've never heard anyone call Romney a Nazi.

You're grasping at straws here, dude. Nobody thinks that all Trump supporters, or all conservatives, are Nazis. 

I agree that its not a phrase that should be thrown around loosely. Romney isn't a Nazi. Trump -- despite some of the company he keeps -- is not a Nazi. W wasn't a Nazi.

"Dachau Cabana"- by the Vandals (His name was Helmut, he wore a Brown Shirt)

and of course "California Uber Alles" by the Dead Kennedys, about Jerry Brown.

Before there was Godwin's Law, California Uber Alles at least showed wit.  Jello was always good for a hyperbolic laugh or two.

Maybe shouldn't admit this but who cares...I haven't beaten the #### out of someone in over 2 decades and I miss it. I know it's more enlightened to denounce violence, but sometimes it just scratches an itch. I envy the rioters in a way, and I'd happily take the charge if I could've gotten a crack at that skinhead. I strongly disagree with the statement that violence is never the answer.

Fresh Fruit and Plastic Surgery Disasters were two of my faves, but so much political wankery and pitch (vox) can ruin anything.

Frankenchrist sucks as an album. Bedtime For Democracy was pretty good.

Overall, I give them a high five and much love for certain songs.

Weird to think that funny, happy go-lucky @McGarnicle has a bit of a psychotic bent.  I dig it. 

 
If you are standing in line for the shower at Auschwitz, yes by all means pop the dude with the machine gun  

if you are sneaking up behind an unarmed dude doing an interview and sucker punch him as part of lawless mayhem and your own racist views, you go to jail.  

 
The occasional sucker punch is no big deal.  There's little chance things would escalate beyond that.

A man was shot and seriously wounded at the University of Washington Friday night outside a building where Milo Yiannopoulos, the Breitbart writer who has been inflaming campuses with his comments about race and gender, was speaking. The shooting victim is in the hospital. The names of the man who was shot and the shooter have not been released, and the university said it could not comment on whether they have any connections to the institution.

As at many other campuses, Yiannopoulos drew protests and there were clashes -- mostly verbal but some involving the throwing of objects -- between Yiannopoulos fans waiting to get in and those protesting. The Seattle Times described some of the chants that took place, with those supporting Yiannopoulos shouting "white power" and those opposed shouting back "Nazi scum."

Many of those waiting to see Yiannopoulos wore red "Make America Great Again" caps from the campaign of Donald Trump, who was inaugurated as president that day. Some carried signs that said "Celebrate Patriarchy." When protesters chanted, "Black lives matter," the pro-Yiannopoulos crowd chanted, "Blue lives matter." Both sides regularly called the other fascist.

If the sometimes ugly scenes outside Yiannopoulos speeches have become common on his tour of campuses, the shooting was still a shock to many.

It is unclear what happened, but a 34-year-old man was shot and is in critical condition in a Seattle hospital. A man who turned himself in to university police said he shot the other man in self-defense after an altercation that led him to feel he was in danger of being attacked by a white supremacist. Friends of the man who was shot, however, told The Seattle Times that their friend was a Bernie Sanders supporter who was not a racist.

The shooting took place despite what would seem extraordinary steps to make it possible for a controversial speaker to appear. The university has confirmed reports that there were 200 Seattle police officers on hand, on top of 25 university police officers. The university bans firearms on campus, except for use by law enforcement.

The problem, we have gotten to the point where anyone who disagrees is a Nazi.  So you might as well go around punching everyone. 

 
Several questions here really.

First, "is it cool?"  Probably not.  It is too cliché to be cool.  Whether it is morally right, or a moral obligation, or morally wrong may be a debate, but cool, I don't think so.

Second is the question of "too punch".  All kinds of punches are possible, and if there is to be an application of physical force perhaps punching is not the best option.

Next,I am unclear why this is limited to Neo-Nazis. Are these the only kind of Nazis anymore. Might there be retro-Nazis, or pseudo-Nazis?

Finally, presuming one is going for a punch, for coolness points, and has properly identified the type of Nazi, why choose the face.  Sure that contains the hole through which their rhetoric pours, but what about targeting their balls?  Is it that they don't have any, or they represent too small a target.  What about a nice throat punch?

So much to think through here.

My President says that when someone says something that upsets me, I should punch them in the face or at least rough them up.
