A Christmas Story

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

It's a Wonderful Life

It's these three and then an enormous gap before everything else IMO. Not even close. I watch all three of these every year around Christmas, at least once each, and probably always will until I die.

To round out the top five I'll add:

Home Alone

Miracle on 34th Street Elf

But I could swap these out for a bunch of others that are being mentioned.

Trading Places

Elf

Polar Express

Another one I like a lot is The Snowman. Its only 40mins though, not a movie.

1) National Lampoon's Holidays Vacation

2) A Holidays Story

3) The Muppet Holidays Carol

4) The Nightmare Before the Holidays

5) Bad Santa

1. Grinch (animated)

2. Christmas Vacation

3. Elf

4. Christmas Carol (with George C Scott) - maybe every 5 years or so.

5. Rudolph - maybe every 10 years or so.

Never need to ever watch again ever:

Wonderful Life

Christmas Story

Miracles on whatever street.

It's rather pathetic...i'm a grown ### man. But every year I find myself watching The Santa Clause.

:bag: Last year I watched all 3.

The Homecoming is a made-for-TV movie with all the Walton kids but different parents. Patricia Neal played the mother. It came out before the series. I can't stand to watch the series, but that movie is still one of my favorite Christmas movies.

1. Xmas Vacation

2. Elf

3. Christmas Story

4. Bad Santa

5. Home Alone

6. Scrooged

7. Christmas Carol (G C Scott)

8. Die Hard

9. Lethal Weapon

10.Muppet Christmas Carol

X-mas with the Kranks, Jingle All the Way and the one where Michael Keaton turns into a snowman. They aren't the best....but I find myself not changing the channel when they are on.

Best movies that take place during Christmas that have nothing to do with Christmas...Lethal Weapon, Die Hard and Die Hard 2.
