Ya lost me here. Cam definitely slept with AJ's teacher. That is an affair in my book.It wasn't an affair but as I mentioned in a previous post, she turned herself into the exact thing she hated Tony for, and that was being a whore (she traded sex to help AJ).Carm had an affair with AJ's teacher.I did not hate her but she was very inconsistentHating on Carmella is weird. What did she do?I think Zellman was nervous.Remember when Tony went to Zellman's house (the first time -- not the time he beat him with the belt) and Irina was there. Zellman explained to Tony that Irina was taking language lessons at the local college. "English is her second language."
Yeah, NO SH-T!
BTW, Tony just couldn't let sleeping dogs lie. Not only did he lose a big ally in Zellman, but Irina caused the separation (which helped cause me to really hate Carmella even more).
In the early days she seemed to understand and almost condone Tony's whoreing (remember her talk with the priest).
Then she had two almost flings herself, with the painter and with Furio, neither of which she ended
She finally snapped when Tony's whoreing came into her household with the phone call.Tony cheats with every catcher's mitt known to man. Carmella tries to rationalize what she's living with. She then "almost" has 2 affairs herself, never actually crossing that line herself (would she have? maybe.), and thus has no right at all to be upset about Tony cheating.
It's like the Walk/Schuylier thing all over again. I know why it happens, but it still seems strange to me.
Just another reason why Carm was a very inconsistent but interesting character.

Four of the eight characters in that scene were killed.
6, if you consider Meadow's chest disappearance in later seasons as being killedFour of the eight characters in that scene were killed.
Agreed on all counts.after re-watching a ton of episodes on HBO the last month its pretty fair to say that some episodes and plots hold up superbly while others are just junk. The Furio/Carm angle, the realtor/christopher, AJ/Puerto rican chick and my most hated the Bobby b/janice partnership. Just brutal and unnecessary.
great show all around though
a. Mafia guys almost always have women on the side.I really don't get why Christopher, who has a SMOKING HOT WIFE at home, has to stick his #### into a kinda rough looking realtor with an appreciation for drugs. Just baffles me.
There are MEN in the can better looking than my sister! And screw Janice.
I don't know what it says about me when, the first time I saw her, I immediately recognized her as the prostitute that helped Bob Wiley at the pay phone in What About Bob. I remember being repulsed as a 6 year old when I saw her. My tastes have not changed. There are MEN in the can better looking than my sister! And screw Janice.
A. At least Tony could pick a hot goomah (and drop the realtor on her ###).a. b. Christopher also had an appreciation for drugs.
c. Deciding to marry some random chick he accidently impregnated wasn't suddenly gonna make him not want to bang other women.
I don't know...I love it when he goes all "PR Pride" and then gets dumped at the parade!......I laughed.after re-watching a ton of episodes on HBO the last month its pretty fair to say that some episodes and plots hold up superbly while others are just junk. And Valentina burned up while making Tony eggs. *tips 40oz for Valentina*He sure did like confronting guys who are making eggs.
"Do I want some eggs??? I want you to put your f--ing pants on!"
She was so hot, excuse the pun. The older people here remember her from Head of the Class. And Valentina burned up while making Tony eggs. *tips 40oz for Valentina*He sure did like confronting guys who are making eggs.

Almost spit my beer out at that one.....And Junior said "Peppers and eggs? I shoulda ordered that."
Not only was she hot, but she wasn't a moron like the Russian nor mentally ####ed like Gloria. But, she did kind of go from fun loving to a little naggy before she caught fire (it's noticeable when you watch episodes back to back). Another small inconsistency in a Sopranos character. She was so hot, excuse the pun. "I always thought that was Shaq""College" is on HBOS right now. Tony will be garroting Febby the rat soon.
If not for season 2 it would probably be my favorite season of any show ever. Richie puts season 2 over the top though.Man, season 1 was some outstanding television.
I liked Season 2 better as well since it seemed to get a bit more polish to it. Compared to other seasons, the production of Season 1 seemed a bit primitive for some reason, like the concept was still developing. If not for season 2 it would probably be my favorite season of any show ever. First half of season 6 was pretty bad (Tony's coma and Vito), but it rallied. The Vito gay season was terrible!
Pretty sure I started that rumor. It may even be true. For me...

I just wish they had spelled out the coming out of the closet metaphor a little more clearly.First half of season 6 was pretty bad (Tony's coma and Vito), but it rallied. The Vito gay season was terrible!
You do have to admit that, by the time Phil Leotardo got to him, it was very, very satisfying to watch him get bludgeoned.
I read it on a Sopranos forum that was active during that season. Guy just bombed.Pretty sure I started that rumor. It may even be true. For me...

That story has been all over the net for years. I just read about again in a recent story on the Sopranos again this yearI read it on a Sopranos forum that was active during that season. Guy just bombed.Pretty sure I started that rumor. It may even be true. For me...

So you have to wonder how often that's the motivation for getting rid of various characters, and we never hear about it. Who was the guy on Sopranos who couldn't learn his lines and...
MZS: Robert Loggia.
Bunting: ...and they were like, 'We're gonna violate his parole.'
MZS: Right, because, 'This can't continue.'
Bunting: What was that one scene where he's speechifying at the card table? Apparently, it took them three days to shoot it because it was just impossible.
"It's like the Girl Scouts."Loggia still delivered some of the best lines of the series, frankly.

I've been watching S6 On Demand. I still can't believe Gandolfini is dead. Such a f###king bummer.Every time I think, "Ok, I'm going to give this series a break for a few years," HBO starts running it from the beginning and I get hooked again.
