Really not sure how Barcelona pulled that out. I told Mjolnirs on Saturday that they had a favorable draw so would probably get a straight red and knocked out early. Somehow Benfica made an even bigger blunder on the giveaway to Ralphina.

Have seen stills this AM where the player Konate eventually fouled looks offside as the pass is played. At a minimum it would have been time to get the lines out.

VvD barking "It's not Ligue 1, bro" at the PSG staffer screaming about red cards and PKs in the tunnel is enjoyable either way.

1-1 aways isn't too bad for United.
Tottenham lose 1-0, will probably win 2-0 in London.
did you watch Unitied? fair scoreline?
Had the Golazo show on my phone so I didn't get to. Just saw the goals.
Sounds like they played as they have been lately. Poor at times, ok at times.

Did see the goal by United, was a nicely worked one out to Garnacho and back to Zirkzee who scored.
Sociedad scored on a PK (handball by Bruno in the box). One of those they always call so you can't complain about.

GD Atleti pooped the bed yesterday. Up a goal through 80 mins, get a red card for a bad foul, then give up 2 goals in the next 10 mins to lose. That could cost them the league title.

This kid is a year away from being a legit top 15 player in the world at just 18 years old. He continues to do things that just make you shake your head

I hate to be hyperbolic, but he’s like two years ahead of where Messi was at the same age. He might not level up the way Messi started to at 19, but he’s absurd for 17. Unlimited talent.

jesus, and I missed this from earlier in the game 😯

Entertaining second leg at Anfield. PSG over the two legs were the better team - hate that it was in the round of 16.

I’m very impressed with the total team PSG has put together - they were always so attack minded years back with Mbappe, Messi and Neymar but now they have an incredible midfield and defense.

Yesterday's loss was a tough one. Bothered me more than I expected.

PSG was better than Liverpool at home at a higher level than the reverse and Pool was definitely lucky to come away ahead from the first leg, but they still should have found a way yesterday at home. Tough, tough loss.

I didn't realize how dominant PSG has been this season. I was messaging with a friend in Germany and he said the loss at home to LFC last week was their first lost since November (at Bayern). They haven't lost in the Ligue 1 all season. This could be the year they finally make a CL final. Awful way to go out for Liverpool - what a gut punch - but the tournament is still shaping up to have some good ties in the quarterfinals and beyond.
