I'm going to give Ole some credit here as it appears he has been reading these threads and hearing for a clamoring of a need to adjust tactics. And like that, against PSG, he plays 3 in the back and grabs a 2-1 away win. Against Chelsea he switches it up again, and honestly the draw was deserved, but United had the better of the high quality chances (Maguire take down in the box aside). And then they play the Bundesliga leaders and switch it up to a back 4 with a shallow diamond and a DvB doing all the heavy lifting around the pitch. They didn't start Fernandes and Rashford and still really took it to RB Leipzig. Pogba was very good as he didn't have to bother with high pressing, Martial DvB and Greenwood were really active. Pogba didn't have to fight for possession with Fernandes and drove forward with confidence. This was the similar player to what was at Juve when he was paired up with the likes of Vidal. Leipzig is a quality side, and save Sabitzer who was subbed on, played their strongest lineup. This was a tricky match for United and again, different formation, different players and it was great. I really liked the way Lindelof played as well. Now with Arsenal coming up this weekend, hopefully they can carry this momentum to the league so they don't get relegated.
