Why dont you guys just get it over with and whip them out and see whose is bigger.
I bet I do have 2 or 3 dynasty teams that are better than anything Dez has.
What do we think of this one? Anybody high on Benn and think it's time to sell MW high?Kolb, Kevin PHI QBWilliams, Mike TBB WRYear 2012 Round 2 Draft PickSchaub, Matt HOU QBYear 2012 Round 1 Draft PickZealots trade. With this trade, not sure what happens to the 2012 2nd rounder (team was 1.03 this year) - could be really high again, could be as low as 1.10 or so.The 2012 1st rounder - late pick this year, earliest is gets is maybe 1.06 - team is probably in the playoffs though
I guess I don't understand this trade. Long term, I think I like Kolb = Schuab, maybe more. So why move Mike Williams Bucs, STUD, to MAYBE move up to middle or late 1st next year? Seems like that's giving him away to me. If you got Rodgers back, I could see it. But for Schaub? Me no likey. What do we think of this one? I guess it's the situation of that team then. But this Zealots team has Nicks, Dez, and Colston. I needed to make a move, in my opinion, as Kolb was my starter. That team was that awful, that when Orton got sat down, I didn't even have a QB starting in the NFL on it hahaAnyway, I think I must be lower on Kolb than most. I think he has a heckuva lot of trouble reading the blitz if he doesn't have great protection.I'm building a nice young team and while Roddy is still a stud and will be for the next 3 years, his trade value will only decline from here. I really like Maclin and feel he has a good shot at being a top 10 WR. I have a pretty good idea of what will be there at 1.07 in my league and feel pretty good about that as well. Being non-ppr, and being a little weak at Rb, I need to take a risks to land a couple quality RBs. This will help in that endeavor.I understand your comments, though. I just happen to like the depth in this draft.Maclin is a solid player and can only get better....however why do people constantly overvalue lotto tickets like the 1.7. Roddy White is worth more than that. he is in the prime of his career and has a few more elite seasons left. Maclin was a great land but I would have asked for another solid veteran vs a lotto ticket at 1.7 for the #1 WR last season.12 team non-PPRTeam A gives Roddy WhiteTeam B gives Maclin + 1.07

This is a bit weird to me. I really dislike trade #1. If 1.03 does in fact become Ingram, I think the net result is decent, and a trade I might make. But individually, I don't think I would have made either trade. I feel like Bowe is worth much more than Boldin, and any pick after round 2 is kind of valueless. I actually dont mind that Bowe trade for you, especially if the 2012 1st ends up in the top half. I like quantity over quality in this years draft(other than the top 3). This draft is deep and with a little luck you should hit a couple good players with the picks you got this year.Haha yeah that was suppose to be 2012 and not 2912.I figure the first trade would be 'frowned upon', but I figure the 2nd trade would make up for it. All in all, with trading Bowe, my top 3 WR are Nicks/D Jax/P Garcon.... my starting RBs are MJD/Bradshaw with a "hole" at the flex spot. My logic is that most likely Ingram will fall to me, but would be happy with either Ingram or Jones as my starting flex spot.

I understand what you are saying. Aa vauable as RB's are in Zealots, they somehow are still overvalued. I figured this out a few years into my Zealots careeer. I had some success early in Zealots by hoarding RB's, but it wasnt until i took advanatge of the overvaluing of RB's and started trading them for huge returns did i really start to have things go my way.In general, I sort of, kind of, depending on the situation, agree.Your right, let me rephrase. As was stated in an earlier post regarding Qb's and the ability (or lack there of) to move them this owner took Brady and Manning early in a 4 team redraft last year and tried to move the QB's throughout the season without much luck. He my have felt the pressure to do something with his assets and the 1.07 for Manning was the best he could do. I am in that League as well and was surprised to see both trades. Now that's some over-valuing of rookie draft picks.Zealots1.03 (turned into J.Jones)forMcFaddensame league1.07 (otc)forP.Manning
I've been trying to move Brady in one league where I have Vick/Kolb. Brees is a little younger, but I'll bet Peyton/Brees/Brady all fall in similar category, where its hard to get anything close to value. I hate having an asset like that on the bench, so I feel like I need to move it while I can, even if I'm selling low. I don't know if I have the patience to wait it out knowing it might only get worse. The truth is, I shopped Vick or Brees and couldn't get jack crap for offers. I got impatient and made a bad deal. Lesson learned, I should have remained patient and waited until the season started or someone's QB went down. But again, I haven't crippled my team. Vick, Ray Rice, MJD, Wayne, Collie, Smitty, Holmes, Ford, Sanders, Randy Moss, Cooley, Cook, I have players that will likely help me win more weekends than I lose.
Its been close every year though, and Rodgers is alot more likely to get hurt. In the last 3 seasons Rodgers has averaged 24.1 ppg, Manning has averaged 22. Assuming both played all 90 games over the next 5 years Rodgers would finish with 2169 points and Manning 1980. So Rodgers would have outscored Manning by 189 points in 5 years. At 24.1 ppg game, Rodgers would have to miss 8 more games than Manning over the next 5 years for Manning to outscore Rodgers during that time.He hasn't any of the 3 years Rodgers has started. I wouldn't put it past Peyton to play 5 more years but Rodgers will score more points unless he gets injured.Ill take the vets in both trades. Its quite possible that Peyton has as many fantasy points as Rodgers over the next 5 years.
