No kidding. I have to give both right and left arms in my league for him. I cannot imagine what the owner receiving the 1.02 is that excited about landing.Wow! That's cheap.1.02 for Blackmon

like the side getting Harvin12 Team Superflex league Team A gave: Antonio Brown/Maclin/Gordon Team B gave: Harvin/Mathews
Panic in April??Sometimes panic sets in...done it myself. Bad move from a value standpoint and the fact that the Pats traded for Blount.Well, OK. But, honestly, if that was the best deal I could make, then I would rather keep him and hope to make a better deal during the season.12 Team PPR
QRRWWTKD + 2 flex, one flex can be a QB
I gave Harvin
I got Ridley
I was low on RB depth and huge on WRs, with Mega, Dez, Cobb and Torrey still on my team. He wanted Harvin.
I don't love the Ridley in PPR and I like the Pats even less. But it was the best deal I could make...with good RBs being scarce and difficult to extract.
I'm sitting on the 1.2 in a league that I'm desperate as could be for a RB2. I would definitely reject a Blackmon for 1.2 offer. Also I understand the desire to pick BAP and deal later but some leagues, like this one, deals are few and far between so I'd never spend a high pick on a player with the goal to acquire a trade asset in a league like this one.A starting RB is what he told me.No kidding. It's a tale of five trades. Of which, this one sucked.Panic in April??

The best you can on that one is DO NOTHING.It's a tale of five trades. Of which, this one sucked.Panic in April??
Starts in March:
I will admit, the Harvin for Ridley deal is the crudiest. Bad deal. Without going into the intimate details that nobody cares about, I really like the other four deals as they apply to my roster, pre-Rookie Draft. Could I have done better? In a league where everyone reads Football Guys forums, yeah. This ain't one of those leagues.
- Arian Foster, Romo for Cobb, 1.01 and 2014 1st (will be top four)
 - 1.01 for 1.06 and 2014 1st (will be top four)
 - 1.06 for Torrey Smith
 - Percy Harvin for Ridley

- Ridley and Jared Cook for MJD and 2014 1st (could be anywhere)

I realize I didn't fare very well there. Thanks for rubbing my nose in it. Again. The best you can on that one is DO NOTHING.It's a tale of five trades. Of which, this one sucked.Panic in April??
If I am selling a car for 10 grand, I am not going to take 2 grand just cause it's the best offer I have gotten to that point.

It happens. The Foster/Cobb and the 1.06/Torrey deals were clear winners. The 1.01 for 1.06/1st was very good as well. Not too bad overall. It's a tale of five trades. Of which, this one sucked.Panic in April??

So you gave up a lot of value for a QB2? I don't get it. Even for a start 2QBJust made this trade 1ppr standard 26 man rosterRBs Left on my roster Morris, C Johnson, Sproles, Ivory, Goodson Hunter I get QB Sam Brandford I gave up R Mathews and 3.1 Going to draft Austin Weak at QB Only had Rivers and Weedon on my roster
If it was a start 2QB or a super flex, it was a good trade. Especially if you think Bradford will take that next big step with a talented group of receiving weapons (I personally think it will be small steps, still). But Mathews value is next to nothing. Getting Bradford in a league where QB's are worth a premium would be a good deal. But I'm not sure this was a 2QB or super flex league. So you gave up a lot of value for a QB2? I don't get it. Gimme the Gordon and Austin side all day on this one.12 team PPR
Hakeem Nicks for Josh Gordon and Tavon Austin (post draft)
I realize a lot of people were burned by Mathews last year ( I was one of them), but to say his value is next to nothing is erroneous. He's a clear cut starting RB on a team that upgraded its offensive line while bringing in no competition for him via the draft. If it was a start 2QB or a super flex, it was a good trade. Try to trade him, then tell me where his value is.Could make him a hold rather than a sell, but the point stands that his market value is nil right now. That doesn't change the fact that this trade wouldn't be selling him cheap, IF it's a 2QB league.I realize a lot of people were burned by Mathews last year ( I was one of them), but to say his value is next to nothing is erroneous. Wow, thought for sure Blackmon would cost more in a 14 teamer.. Like him much more than any WR available at 1.7. Easy accept..14 Team PPR
Gave Robert Meachum, 1:07, 4:07

I guess I'm in the minority taking a 25 year stud WR with foot injuries..Gimme the Gordon and Austin side all day on this one.12 team PPR

I'm a big enough of a DMC believer that I still prefer him over Wilson but it's close and certainly not enough to make me not love this trade for you. Thanks guys. I thought it worked out very well. I also saw the 1.5 as a total bonus freebie, so I swung for the fences with Patterson. Didn't hurt that I needed a WR.Meno, I agree. I don't clearly prefer Wilson to DMC, but the value was beyond right and I don't really have the roster depth to mess with DMC's injuries and still compete.I'm a big enough of a DMC believer that I still prefer him over Wilson but it's close and certainly not enough to make me not love this trade for you. I would have taken the Charles deal in a heartbeat, but this is good too.12 team PPR IDP league I gave:1.01, 3.01 I got:Larry Fitzgerald. I owned picks 1.1 and 1.4 and have been trying all offseason to unload one or both for a top RB. Best offer I received was both picks for Jamaal Charles, which I didn't take. Fitzgerald makes my starting 4 WRs as Julio Jones, Hakeem Nicks, Larry Fitz, and TB Mike Williams. Still have Arian Foster as one starting RB, and will use my remaining 1.4 to likely take whomever is left between Lacy, Bernard, Bell, and Ball. At least this way I don't have to make the choice and choose incorrectly, and I felt that Fitz gave me a dominating set of WRs.
Just never been a fan of Charles, for better or for worse. For two top-4 picks, was looking more in the Richardson/Martin group, but of course those guys weren't budging (probably for good reason!). Just not a good year to have 2 high picks...hopefully I will not have another one next season as well!I would have taken the Charles deal in a heartbeat, but this is good too.12 team PPR IDP league I gave:1.01, 3.01 I got:Larry Fitzgerald. Likely owners falling in love with draft picks. So sure that 1.0X will hit, that anything included with it is a bonus. What's up with people selling Blackmon so cheap?
No kidding. I traded Ray Rice and Shonn Greene for Blackmon and 1.03 a few weeks ago. Seeing these trades, I'm feeling pretty crummy about my trade now. What's up with people selling Blackmon so cheap?

I was thinking what's up with him being involved in so many trades period? What's up with people selling Blackmon so cheap?
I'm not gonna lie, I was surprised to see that offer float through my inbox, but the other guy is a savvy owner with a good team. He already has Russell Wilson and I guess he felt Ryan was expendable. QBs don't carry a massive value in this league. I sold Rodgers a little cheaply in this league a couple weeks ago, partially for that reason.RobberyDeal #2: Gave: Matt Schaub, 2.03, 3.05, 2014 2ndGot: Matt Ryan, 4.10
