I justed traded for Little in one of my dynasty leagues. I traded Steve Smith (CAR) for Greg Little straight up.

I have average faith in Little. If he doesn't hit the 900+ yard mark this year, I'll probably give up on him for the most part. At his current value, I think he has more upside than downside. I made the trade because personally, Smith has a MAX of 2 years fantasy relevance and the reality is that this might be his final year of relevance. Once he goes, he has zero value in dynasty. With Little, he's young enough that he'll warrant some value, even a few years from now. I was glad to trade Smith for such a young player with ceiling of tier 1 WR. Little may completely bust but his potential is elite WR. At best Smith has 1 elite season in him. The most likely outcome for Smith is probably 2 seasons of WR 2-3 production then he falls off completely. At worst, Smith fizzles out immediately, either via injury or age catching up with him. Let's not forget that Smitty plays reckless and entering his mid 30s has had a few injury riddled seasons.I have no faith in Little. I salute you on thinking outside of the box and taking a stand on a mediocre player few people view very highly. Actually 2 if you add T.Y. Hilton at #11. Personally I view those guys as pretty expendable as they don't have top 15 upside in my eyes, even in PPR. You have Antonio Brown at #35 who is basically the same guy but more proven and a better short term outlook. Several guys in tier 7 who are just as young and I like considerably more. But to each their own. His ADP is 91 overall and WR 39. Personally a 2014 1st would be plenty let alone adding Moore whose basically an equivalent player. That is correct...You do know those are dynasty rankings right? You have him as WR12? Cheap for Blackmon, even in a start 2/1.5 (TE) format. At the very least, wait for week 5 and deal him then.12 team PPR (1.5 PPR for TE) Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 RB/WR/TE, also Max 5 year contracts

I'll take the other side and say that that was quite a haul for JB. Personally I think either Broyles or Hunter (or both) could eclipse Blackmon in production within the next season or two, and Ivory is just icing on the cake. I think Ivory for Blackmon could be a fair trade strait up, especially with how thin RBs are these days.Cheap for Blackmon, even in a start 2/1.5 (TE) format. #1 WR is an oftem misused argument, in my opinion. Cruz and Nicks help each other produce; they play a different positions. I think Blackmon and Shorts III can opperate the same way, and did for a stretch, during which they were both top 15 (or so) WRs, with Chad Henne at QB. Shorts is not a reason for me to temper my expectations of Blackmon.I'll take the other side and say that that was quite a haul for JB. Draft position and measurables aside, Cecil Shorts is the #1 on that team much like Victor Cruz is the #1 in NY even though Nicks was the "sexier" player/prospect.
I agree Ivory is overvalued but given his ADP it's good value. 5th for a 6th, 9th, 11th.Cheap for Blackmon, even in a start 2/1.5 (TE) format. At the very least, wait for week 5 and deal him then.12 team PPR (1.5 PPR for TE) Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 RB/WR/TE, also Max 5 year contracts

Kendall Wright as your WR12? In ANY format? Glad you like him but that's nuts in my eyes!
Telling someone that thier dynasty rankings are wrong is about the silliest thing you can do, (Everyone thinks they are Ms.Cleo), You do know Wright was a 2012 1st round pick right? Wright and Hilton looked very good as rookies, and well these are dynasty rankings. I see your point with Hilton being ranked high, and Brown ranked low, but when you have a Quarterback like Andrew Luck your team tends to throw a ton, The production on both of those players as a rookie don't lie. A lot of people are on the Michael Floyd hype train...Why not Kendall Wright??I salute you on thinking outside of the box and taking a stand on a mediocre player few people view very highly. Fair trade for both. Slight lean towards Green.14 Team Dynasty -- I was not involved
RWilson, GJennings, 2014 1st Round (will be low)
for
AJ Green
Team getting Green has Rodgers, Lynch, Wallace, ABrown with Green in starting lineup
Other team had Vick starting QB and now starts Wilson Jennings Blackmon Britt and Gronk...(We have different lineups we can use)
Without having all the specs - the guy getting Green is the clear winner here. Even in a 14 team league, Wilson is a 4th round start-up pick. Green is top 4 overall. That is a monster gap - more than double the value of Wilson - and Jennings/1st isn't close to enough.14 Team Dynasty -- I was not involved

I'm likely in the minority, but I'd take the Gronk+ side. I'd take Gronk+Cruz over Calvin without much thought, and the rest of the deal is a wash, at worst.High performance ppr dynasty (assume all contracts are equal):

You're missing a few more >>> between Johnson and Miller. The guy is 31, still recovering from an ACL, and is coming off a career high in TDs and rec. yards. He's likely missing some of this year and his future fantasy relevance is questionable at best. I'm not a big Johnson fan, but these aren't even in the same ballpark.Coeur de Lion said:I prefer the Gronk side easily in that one personally.

My understanding is that the forearm is a non-issue now. The back is somewhat concerning, but minor enough in nature for me to keep him on the same tier. The injury history is hard to ignore.
Who's ignoring it? If not for the injuries, Gronk vs. Graham isn't even a discussion. As far as Gronk vs. Calvin? Depending on where you set your baselines, the value they provide is damn close, and Gronk is 3 1/2 years younger than Calvin. The injury history is hard to ignore.Coeur de Lion said:Gronk is almost = to Calvin (age difference offsets Gronk's injuries IMO), assuming TE req.![]()

Apologies firstly for the comment, and thanks for responding graciously. I do indeed know Wright was a first round pick, to me Wright looked okay as a rookie, Hilton looked good. Wright had a low YPC, and didn't show much after the catch. He looked like a solid possession receiver and the stats bear that out. I'm not saying he won't improve but I think you're valuing his youth too much and projecting a ceiling I don't think he could ever reach. He does have a decent floor though!Zimm said:Kendall Wright as your WR12? In ANY format? I do think outside the box a good bit, and my rankings show that across the board, and not to mention my dynasty teams reflect those rankings where you will see Hilton and Wright (Also others on my All-Zimm-Hype-Team haha (Hope im right), but of course wrong at times. Mr. Eddie Royal was a big goof of mine, but even after struggling during his second season his trade value was still very high and i was able to dump him, and get something back, because well young WR's always have value in dynasty. My team is completely loaded and deep, It would be a small merical if i wasn't pick 10,11.12 and waivers haven't even begun yet.

14 team PPR (1.5 for TE). Very flexible starting lineups.
I gave:
Startup picks 1.06, 7.06, 8.09
rookie picks 2014 2nd, 2014 3rd, 2014 4th
I got:
Start-up picks 2.07, 3.08, 6.07
rookie pick 2014 1st
2013 Devy pick #14 (one round devy draft takes place after start-up)
2014 Devy pick (one round Devy draft will follow 4 round rookie draft in subsequent years)
On the one hand I am nervous missing out on the top 20 players in the start-up.
On the other I think this is a lot of potential value and I kinda like the idea of owning the future 1st and future Devy pick of a guy who picks twice in the 1st and then not again until the mid-4th, 5th, 7th, 7th, 8th, 8th. That's gonna be a top-heavy roster. One injury and that's the #1 overall pick, possibly.
Idk how to feel about it, it's my first league with Devy's and my first start-up in a while.
Pretty ironic...Love the picks side for J-Stew.12 team, PPR w/ flex.

Pitta by a mile as I have zero confidence Alexander can stay healthy.
