2015 Edition: Pick 5 (or more) NFL Teams that won't make playoffs (1 Viewer)

####. How'd I miss this. I nailed it last year. Anyway, here are my 5 - I promise with no cheating:

1. Jacksonville

2. Oakland

3. Buffalo

4. Minnesota

5. St. Louis
Apparently I meant NYJ as the AFC basement dweller, but otherwise not looking too bad.
especially facing the handicap of picking 3 weeks into the season.

nice work.
:hot:

I swear up and down I had those chosen before the season started. Just forgot to post it. Frankly, it's not like I've included some rogue choice that wouldn't have made sense in the preseason but did three weeks in.

CHEATER !!!

I think next year we should do a game where you pick 5 teams not to make the playoffs but the person who's teams have the best overall record wins. That way you don't just pick easy teams. You kind of have to pick middle of the road teams.

That's what i tried to do by picking:

SEA

SF

CHI

WAS

KC

Texans 7-6

Rams 6-7

Vikings 6-7

Raiders 2-11

49ers 7-6
Am I winning for best combined record without a playoff team? (assuming the Texans don't sneak in  )

Has anybody clinched a win yet? CHI, NYG, WAS, TB, NYJ, TEN, OAK, JAX, I think those are the eliminated teams.

Still a bad pick.
A ton of preseason chatter about how Harbaugh rubbed everyone in the org with a pulse the wrong way.

Your QB sucks when playing outside of the read option, which they've conpletly abandoned

Didn't know when / if Navorro was coming back

Aldon Smith drama

Plenty of reasons why this team could have, and did, come up short.

It wasn't that hard to predict they'd be 3rd behind Arizona/Seattle. I picked the Rams too, all I really did was predict the Cardinals/Seahawks would be really good, and it'd be really hard for a 3rd team in any division to make the playoffs (ARZ last year 10 wins, 3rd in division, missed playoffs).

Reasonable. But one of the 2-3 worst teams in the conference? That's basically what you're looking for, right? Even with everything that is wrong and has gone wrong, they still arent that.

It really wasn't as shticky a pick as it looks. I know the NFCW by far the best of all, then GB, DEN, and IND were my next favorite division winners, took what I thought was the worst team in each division. Round about way of doing it, but I've never been right doing it the other way.

Here's my 5. Seems harder this year:

Browns

Titans

Giants

Vikings

Rams

-QG
In decent shape, largely b/c the Browns are doing so poorly in the tiebreakers.

-QG
Yup barring a Browns miracle I'm set now :bowtie:

In terms of people picking the Niners - too gutsy for my taste but a rationale certainly was there to be made. Picking the "worst" teams isn't the be-all in this - you need the teams that are in the worst spot

-QG

Seems like a slam dunk

Buffalo Bills

Cleveland Browns

Jacksonville Jaquars

Oakland Raiders

Minnesota Vikings

I'd think you'd need to pick 6 or 7 before it starts to get tough.
Too easy...pick 6 or 7 teams next year.

Houston holds all tiebreakers over teams that could finish at 9-7 with them based on either head to head or conference record. Therefore, Houston gets in by beating Jacksonville AND having San Diego (@KC) and Baltimore (vsCLE) lose
