2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: All hail the Blackhawks, mudbutt (1 Viewer)

Love him to get one game in before the SCF, but I think we'll be okay this series without him.

Good news nonetheless.
You think not having Zuuc is the reason they lost last night

The Rangers have decided to play defense like they are playing in a alumni game. Especially Girardi who seems to be on the ice for every goal scored. They need to shore up that unit and get back to team defense. Forget about getting the D involved in the offense. Its not working defensively

Hank is playing nearly as good as he did in the previous two rounds either. They all need to get it together, and fast.

he's making fun of the guy who assumed the Rangers were through to the SCF.before this series started.

I see. well no one should presume anything in sports. That is why they play the games and why its so great

Again, I know I'm not a main poster in this one so take it for what it's worth.

I love baseball. It's still my sports religion. And the Yankees are my blood. And I'm a Giants fan through and through as well. The two latest Super Bowls were rollercoaster rides that were amazing to be a part of as a fan and I still enjoy watching the games on repeat, highlights and sticking it to Patriots fans every chance I get.

And all of that simply to say that there is no singluar game in sports that I have watched as a fan in any sport, at any time, for any reason, that is more emotionally controlling and pulls you from the edge of your seat and beyond then Stanley Cup playoff hockey. I react more to these games than any other, including the Yankees, and I feel my heart pounding in my throat more in these games then when David Tyree caught that ball or Mariano Rivera came in to close out a series. Just an amazing treat this sport is at playoff time. I screamed and woke up the whole house last night when the Rangers tied the game. Wife hates me. Kids didn't get any sleep. Only to lose on such a perfect wrist shot from the 'ning.

Great stuff so far. And not just the Rangers series. Every second of every game I've caught has been thrilling for the most part. I don't know how to make hockey more popular but I don't know how it's possible to not be a fan - at least - of the cup playoffs. And Henrik best get his head out of whatever #### it's stuck in because they can't lose the next game.

Gonna miss the hockey so much this year when the playoffs are over. Gonna miss this thread too. Lots of laughs and my knowledge of the game goes up every time I come in here.

If somebody would trust me with the WetDream keys I would have posted something about waiting for the dangling Johnson's in the queen's face.

How about the fact that they go on for months? I'm a fan but really just of my team (Jets) and of course I'd be thrilled to still be watching them if they made it this far but playoffs last way too long.

Seriously. What are you in a rush for? So baseball season can go on uninterrupted from game 40 instead of game 60?

NBA takes just as long as is 5% as exciting.

NHL Playoffs = In a close game (which is almost every game), the play that decides the game can be made on almost every single touch of the puck (so every touch is exciting and meaningful)

NBA Playoffs = In a close game (which is far too infrequent), the play that decides the game can't possibly be made until the very final possession (so no possession is meaningful until the last play of the game)

Listening to TSN radio this afternoon.

Apparently Babcock asked for a 10 year term, with same dollars.

Shanny pretty excited about bagging Babcock

I was literally on the edge of my seat yesterday in the arena. I am a grown adult with an income and house and everything.

Wiz was worse. No defense in any form at all and very little offense after the trade. Ducks lost several games with him in the lineup after the trade. I'll take the physical play of Stoner right now vs. the hawks
Clayton Stoner - The Anaheim defenceman, who - in one of the more confounding lineup decisions of the postseason - continues to play ahead of James Wisniewski for the Ducks and in Game Two, Stoner had some problems. He was in the penalty box for Chicago's second goal, and was the defenceman in front of the net for the first (deflected by Andrew Shaw) and third (loose puck knocked in by Marcus Kruger) Blackhawks goals.
