Well...it may be a quick exit for me this year.  Barely made is through to Week 3 (cleared cut by 2.5 points).

All of you people that are scoring comfortably away from the line, how many players are on your teams?  Are you down in the 18-21 range?  I've been sweating the cut the last two weeks and I've got 27.

There's no carry-over from week to week, so don't stress over how close to the line you were so long as you advance. 0.5 over the cut = 250 points.

I've done well the first two weeks and made the cuts but took a big hit in the RB department.  Just lost AP and Abdullah.  I have Ware but Charles is coming back.  That leaves me with Blount and Derek Henry.  Not real impressive.

I think that is why I kept talking myself into more, but cheaper options.  Now I am hurting bad at RB

Foster, Gio, Ware, Sims, D.Wash (Oak), D.Henry

My idea was to have Foster and Ware carry me through the first few weeks before Foster gets hurt, and then a committee after that when TB gets through their bye and gets to easier matchups and maybe Henry works himself into the rotation more.  Now.... Gulp.

I like my Qbs and WRs, so hopefully they will keep me going for a bit longer.
Feels like every year I spend too much on top RBs it never works out. Cheap is good.

This is really good data.  Is there any way to add a column with the point average of the survivors from any given number of players?  E.g. for the 30 players row:

Size - count - alive - survival rate - survivor average

30 - 641 - 554 - 86.4 - 148.20

I think it could be interesting.

Finding some gigantic piece of wood to knock because I somehow got through the week 2 injury carnage completely unscathed (though I lost keenan Allen week 1).  Need to hold on two more weeks for Brady and Gordon to return.

Through two weeks

QB: Stafford (2), Brady (0), Wentz (0)

Wasn't expecting Wentz to contribute much if at all but he might actually play

RB: D Johnson (2), Ware (2), Henry (0), Booker (0), Washington (0), Michael (0), Morris (0)

Chalk so far but given the injury bug around the league I still believe that "quantity over quality" RB2 gambit was the correct decision.  Did I pick the right low priced RBs?  TBD

WR: Cooks (2), Edelman (2), Diggs (2), M Jones (1), Gordon (0), Allen (0)

Would Edelman get QB points in the contest?  Asking for a friend.

TE: Reed (2), Witten (1), Green (0), James (0)

Solid scoring here.  I like that I haven't had to use James yet despite his solid totals.

K: Prater (2), Aguayo (0)

Meh

DE: Steelers (2), Falcons (0)

Yeesh

Don't have time to add it to the site at the moment but I just pulled it from the DB:

Code:
size	avg score
18	172.9
19	173.0
20	174.2
21	175.0
22	174.6
23	174.7
24	175.4
25	175.4
26	175.2
27	175.7
28	177.2
29	175.8
30	175.4

That's a LOT more consistent across player totals than I would have thought.

As if I didn't already know, it's now apparent to me how important luck is in this contest.  Last year I skated thru without any major injuries and cashed in the Top 250.  This year, K. Allen, A. Abdullah & D. Moncreif have sunk my chances.  I hear the Turk's footsteps coming down the hall...

I've got a 27 man team and have been very fortunate so far with injuries.  May lose Marshall this week and I have been without Bell, Charles or Gordon so far, but that was expected from the start.

Scored 191.1 and 168.1 so far.

Okay Shark Pool. Plz don't ridicule good old pghrob here.  I am trying to come to grips with failing to get past week 2 this year.  I am not aware of there ever having been a recalculation of scoring or some out of nowhere official nfl stats adjustment that altered the cut line after its initial determination.  Are you? I missed it by less than 2. :(    I guess my failure is true and thus mine to accept.  Lol.  Like everybody I was sure I had a much more promising entry than one that failed two get past week 2.  What a FBG Subscriber's Contest hangover!!!!

Without Gronk, Brady, Moncrief, gordon and marshall I'm probably done this week.  Kicker is I had Enunwa rostered up to the last minute both as a favorite sleeper and marshall insurance.  Dropped him for Eli Rogers.

Well now I have McKinnon hopefully able to help my weak RB's as Ware will start losing more touches to Charles in the upcoming weeks.

Lost Peterson, but have Ware, Michael and McKinnon to go with David and Duke Johnson plus Derrick Henry.  Have been doing this contest for like 10+ years now and have never had legit depth at RB before.  Even when I tried to stack the position.

Looks like I am really short for the contest this year.Peterson,Foster,Greene, all out and Marshall probably going to be on a snap count if he plays at all.I think you can probably stick a fork in my team.

Thanks in no small part to Ma. Jones, I should be through to next week. Cutline pretty low after the early games given the scoring in the games.

Just when I thought my entry was garbage I get big points from Hill, Michael, and Marvin Jones.

Still think my entry is crap though.

Thanks to C Mike, M Jones, and Gurley finally doing something this week looks safe.  Not feeling great although the chances of surviving to Brady and Gordon are back is looking pretty good.  As for my cheap TEs last week they saved me and this week they did close to nothing.

Thank you Mike Evans :)

One more week until Brady returns, but Gronk will be bigger :)

Wonder how many Gronk/Brady/Moncrief/gordon/marshall owners will be around next week. :hey:

Should be, it's 137.4 now, doubt it will go over 160
I sure hope you're right.  Didn't seem to have any of the heavily owned guys thrown around today but am sitting at 162.15 with Michael Thomas (-10.20) and Matt Bryant (-12.20).  Feel like I could be sweating it out if a shootout transpires tomorrow night.

Yep thats what I am worried about too.Game tomorrow could be really high scoring.

172.85 + (Atlanta - 11.0) + (Mike Thomas/Mo Sanu - 5.20/5.70)

Breathing easy for once.  Good luck to those sweating the Turk!

238.45 + (rest of Zach Miller) + (Julio Jones - 12.60). I've managed to avoid the injury bug this year and get Brady back next week. Feeling pretty good.

Lol my TEs are McDonald, Clay, Higbee and Gilmore.

Had Marvin Jones, Michael, A Robinson, and Vikings d. Got over 200 this week.

If it makes you guys sweating the Turk feel better, I have Hooper, Bryant, and Ryan in those ownership numbers above and I won't have any impact on the cutline.

Sitting at 163 with Sanu still to go ... I think I should make it through this week.  Surviving Ameer Abdullah, Keenan Allen and Donte Moncreif injuries, don't know how long that will hold up though ...
