**2017 Preseason Observations Thread** (1 Viewer)

When will the Giants pull the plug on Perkins?  He's looked awful on every carry this preseason, and I've watched all of his touches. 

Now I don't claim to be a film analyst, but eye test ... welp, Perkins fails that for me.

I am not a fan of Perkins, but their o-line is total garbage.  Hard for any RB to look good behind that line.

Darkwa probably can't be worse but they have tried that before and it hasn't really worked. Maybe Gallman? He might have rookie issues like pass pro. Unfortunately I'm not sure David Johnson could even fix this mess of an offense.

Admittedly I haven't watched Darkwa closely over the years, but I remember he started a couple games last year for them and did fairly well, right?  

Just box score gazing -- started 2 games last year at the end of September / early October:
vs. WSH - 11 touches for 62 yards (10-53 on the ground) with a TD
@ MIN - 12 rushes for 48 yards with a TD

After that, he got 7 carries against GB the next week and then didn't touch the ball again the rest of the way.  I kinda wonder what would happen if Darkwa got 16-18 carries in a game.

That's actually better than I remembered. Maybe it was 2015 that I briefly owned him and was unimpressed.

 
Also, Ertz is going to have some BIG games this year.  That said, iirc, MIA was one of the most generous teams for allowing fantasy points to the TE position.

Parker caught a 60 yard pass, flashed his AJ Green sideline jumpball skills. Ajayi looks solid, running hard. Wentz hit Torrey Smith on a long TD pass but other that he looks like a guy running for his life. 

 
Panthers just marched down the field.  Line opening huge holes for Stew and Cmac.  Benji with the easy TD.

 
philly marched right down the field alshon wide open for a 15 yard td.Dolphins defense like swiss cheese , bad v run bad v pass..oof.

Ajayi running HARD. This Eagles-Dolphins game would be a fantasy bonanza. Ajayi 2 TDs, Alshon TD, Parker 70 yards and we are just through 1 quarter.

I hope they quickly scrap the 50/50 split between Stewart and CMC.  I swear to GAWD, if they just frocking give CMC 20 carries and another 5+ receptions per game, he would absolutely dominate the NFL.  I know some think I'm crazy.  Dude has IT.  This 50/50 shirt needs ta GO!
