True. If Chris Paul can stay healthy. And you can find a reasonable way to replace the talent you'll have to jettison to fit LeBron and Chris Paul's deals in. And the Warriors continue to play too much iso ball.
Yeah this sucks. Just empty your 401s into the Warriors. Thank me later.

On top of all that, not that this is gospel or anything, but they had a Cleveland beat reporter on last night during the 710 afternoon drive show and she was talking about quotes from LeBron that he doesn't exactly dig the city of Houston as a destination. I've never seen/heard those myself so   .

Lonzo shot 30% from 3 as a 20 year old rookie - it would be a shock if he doesn't significantly improve on that next year. League average is 36%.  If he's there with his passing and rebounding, he's absolutely an asset offensively.  And again, his defense was outstanding as a rookie 20 year old.

Kidd shot 27% from 3 as a rookie, and averaged 11-8-5, and he was a year older than Lonzo as a rookie.
Lonzo also shot 36% from the field overall this year while shooting 45% from the free throw line. He's got quite a bit of significantly improving to do to not be a major liability on offense.

Are there more examples of guys not panning out after shooting this poorly their rookie season than there are of them developing into Jason Kidds?

Is there a larger picture of it?  I see a middle finger under the 1.

Reminds me of that time the Warriors were up 3-1 in the NBA Finals and then lost 3 straight (first time ever I'm told), including two at oraCLE Arena.
lol it doesn't really work since your Indians did the same thing a few months later.  Besides, I'm not too worried since it will be another 50 years before Cleveland gets to celebrate another championship.

Um, ok.

Still that little tiny pic reminds me of that time the Warriors were up 3-1 in the NBA Finals and then lost 3 straight (first time ever I'm told), including two at oraCLE Arena.  Surprised you didn't mention anything about that in your clever retort.

Enjoy your 'ship.  I enjoyed 2016 obviously way more than you imagine.

If you're the Lakers, and you have room for a 2nd max guy, forward is your deepest position (assuming PG13, Kuzma, Ingram), and center is an area of need, there is a reasonable argument to be made that a 27 year old Cousins is a better fit than 33 yr old LeBron.

I still prefer LeBron, but positional need and age certainly makes it an interesting thought experiment.
Even if you had a team with four Lebron's, if you could get a fifth that would always be the right move regardless of position.

Are you saying you haven't heard rumors about LeBron going to the Lakers until now?
I would say they haven't been in the discussion for the majority of the regular season. Seemed that the ringer article about the 4 teams took the majority of the headlines, but there didn't seem to be much realistic discussion as the Lakers as a possibility until the last month. Maybe I missed it

He bought the first LA house in 16. That started the speculation.

To be fair, at least Cleveland will have an NFL team 18 months from now.

Kevin Durant scoffed when asked about his contract situation at the Warriors' championship parade on Tuesday.

"Why was that even a discussion? Why we even talking about that?" said Durant. "For sure, we going to do this thing again." It doesn't sound like Durant has any interest in leaving the dynasty he's helped build in Golden State, so we don't anticipate his free agency being drawn out this summer. When Dubs' GM Bob Myers was asked how he would handle the negotiation process with KD, he simply responded: "Whatever he wants. Sometimes you don’t negotiate."

I wonder if Skip gets paid extra each time he is horribly wrong?

You missed it.

Durant bought an ocean front place in Malibu shortly after Lebron bought his bigger 23 million dollar pad in Brentwood. You know they're friends and rode around LA in a limo together throughout the all-star break. It's happening.

Now that's a bet you won't take.
Any bet can be a good one if the return is good enough.

Browns are building a nice team on paper.  Their biggest problem is their coaching staff is terrible (either that or they continued to tank last year to get Mayfield).  They should have never fired Sashi.

I'm fine with that because every LeBron lover that called Durant a snake would lose their ####.

I feel like LeBron is the Pied Piper of the NBA. When he walked into the building, he made this sound - kind of went hee hee -- and all the players in the building started going hee hee and here we go. Most unbelievable thing I've ever seen.

LeBron and Durant to LA, book it.

What incentive does Durant have to leave GS though?

He does get paid $5.5mil a year so, probably.

The talk about healing his legacy. There's probably nothing there, but he does seem sensitive to the criticism sometimes. Skip's a tool and LA fans like to dream. I'd be shocked if he left the Bay Area. His LA home is pure summer beach house. He did rent a Hollywood compound last summer. So he looked around, liked Malibu and bought a vacation property. That's pretty common for the rich and famous and Malibu.

Lebron's situation and real estate tells another story.

Lots of talk about Lebron already. While his FA decision is certainly the biggest story of the summer, I feel like the second-biggest story, Brooklyn’s 1.29 pick next Thursday, is getting overshadowed a bit unfairly in here.

Joining LeBron would do even more damage to his legacy.

Yes, there are very few places in the US like Malibu.

The players you just mentioned could never all be on the same roster. It just couldn't happen based on the Spurs cap situation. If there is a way to get those guys as a big three (and I am skeptical on that), then the other guys on your list aren't going to be there with them.
I did the math on this in the other thread, but IIRC Parker and maybe Anderson are the only guys listed there they couldn’t keep together.

I've enjoyed 2015, 2017, and 2018.

It's 3-1 right now GB.

Let's be honest though, everyone that calls Durant a snake and says he took all the drama out of the NBA are really just mad because he stopped LeBron from getting any where from 1 to possibly 4 more titles and leaving him as the no brainer GOAT. If LeBron had jumped to the Warriors instead of back to the Cavs the LeBron guys would love it, if Cavs had kept that team together and found a way to beat the Warriors last year, and this year the LeBron fans would love it. The worst part of their argument is the the taking out all the drama from the NBA, yet they love the fact for the last 8 years there has been no drama in the East while LeBron has dominated the entire conference.

:lmao:

Warriors with some quality trolling at the parade:

Quikie Loans Arena: The Sweep

Draymond with an Arthur fist with three rings T

Cop cars have crying LeBron faces on them

Not saying it's going to happen but it would not surprise me to see LeBron take substantially less so he can get some cupcake/graveyard jokes in.

Narrator: He really is a crybaby
Can someone fill me in on the cupcake/graveyard thing? Also what is Arthur fist?

I'm surprised that isn't more. I'd have guessed $20+ million based on just the pictures
Broad Beach has sand problems and a massive project underway to fix them. It's stalled real estate prices compared to other Malibu beaches. Durant's place would be 30 million or more at Carbon Beach. The one for sale next door probably pretty close to your guess. They're good buys because they're on a little stretch called Lechuza that has an access street as opposed to being right on pch, and the cove in the pictures is not part of the massive sand project. /ladyfriendisaMalibuREattorney
