And letting McKenzie return punts isn’t the worlds best decision at this point. 5 fumbles already. He might communicate to the specials teams coach that ball security is kind of important. He also insists on kicking short FGs instead of going for it when playing against powerhouse offenses. A sure way to lose.
I hadn't really noticed Vance much and don't want to read into mannerisms but he looked totally lost last night. Every time they went to him on the sidelines, it looked like he didn't know why his team was doing what it was doing. Wasn't angry, wasn't upset, just looked confused.BusterTBronco said:Fire Vance Joseph now. Oh, and Elway can fire himself, too, while he's at it.
clean house...clean the whole damn thing...Please fire the clapping Ginger, 0-16 Rod and take Scott "can't make an adjustment" Linehan with you.
I almost feel bad for McAdoo just twisting in the wind like this.
What I would LIKE to see (fantasy land here), is a new coach step in, put on the game film from the last 2 weeks, and start cutting defensive players based on their flag football mentality. Actually, scratch that reference... you would have to reach for a flag.I almost feel bad for McAdoo just twisting in the wind like this.

with his mouth hanging open.A statement from Giants ownership on Monday indicated Ben McAdoo will likely last the season as the team's head coach.
McAdoo's firing is inevitable, but the Tisch and Mara families sound committed to evaluating his performance at the end of the year, and not pulling the plug during it. "Ben McAdoo is our head coach and has our support. We are in the midst of an extremely disappointing season. Our performance this year, particularly the past two weeks, is inexcusable and frustrating," the statement reads. "... Our plan is to do what we have always done, which is to not offer a running commentary on the season. ... At the end of the year, we will evaluate the 2017 season in its entirety and make a determination on how we move forward."

I think that's known as the Jim Caldwell.I hadn't really noticed Vance much and don't want to read into mannerisms but he looked totally lost last night. Dolphins should do the same thing. I don't recall ever seeing a team get pushed around so much without pushing back as Miami did last night. Pathetic. What I would LIKE to see (fantasy land here), is a new coach step in, put on the game film from the last 2 weeks, and start cutting defensive players based on their flag football mentality. Teams that quit on their coach deserve a little "watch what you wish for" action IMO.
It's hard to see from the outside. And a lot of it is dependent of how much influence you think he has in the QB's they have acquired. Personally, based on his personality, I think he has a lot of influence. That is part of the reason I think he should go. Hoyer and Mallett are who they are and O"Brien was very familiar with them. And somehow he thought they would be good options to start. O'Brien had to be okay with bringing in Osweiler, and look at how bad he was. Finally Savage. They drafted him in O'Brien's first year and he has been in the system for 4 years. Every year they have brought in someone to start in front of him. Yet, O'Brien annointed him starter in training camp and gave him all the first team reps. Opening week was a disaster. O'Brien had to suspect this. Deshaun looked so good, not because of O'Brien, but because Deshaun is that good. Savage in his last two games looks like a rookie. He locks onto his receivers and holds the ball too long. Where is the coaching? Or the willingness to get rid of him if he sucks. Savage is not only not a starter, he is a bad back-up QB.Again, can't imagine why some think O'Brien should be fired.
Ridiculous thing is he's done a pretty good job for what he's been handed.
If he does get fired he'll get another job well before these other guys.Ridiculous thing is he's done a pretty good job for what he's been handed.
I think I'd put Pagano between McAdoo JDR in those ratingsI would say Hue Jackson has moved above McAdoo for first to be canned. Jack Del Rio and Jason Garrett’s seat are also getting very hot. Elway also came out with strong words against the Broncos players. I don’t think it’s a guarantee Joseph survives the season, especially if he’s already had his last win for the year.
I think you did a great job with the tiers. The only one I have any issue with is John Fox.Updated 11/21
Gase seems like a really smart guy that got promoted too soon. As you mention, that whole organization has problems. OL coach doing coke on camera, Timmons going AWOL, and the biggest problem seems to be the defense looks old.Like I said in my other post, I’d move Gase up a tier. By almost any metric, the Dolphins are 1 of the 2 worst teams in the league. He had no clue how to use his running back and traded him for very little. He has lots of weapons on both sides of the ball and they just look awful at everything. They get penalized like crazy. Ultimately, the Tannehill excuse may buy him another season but Cutler/Moore is not so bad at QB that they should be this bad.
No Fox is terrible. Watch any game or go to the team thread. The homers will tell you how bad it is.I think you did a great job with the tiers. The only one I have any issue with is John Fox.
I hate his conservative calls as much as the next guy, but I don’t think he’s doing a bad job with that team. Theyre clearly rebuilding and I’m not sure that 3 wins is underachieving with that roster. Throw in a decent track record of winning and I don’t know about Chicago firing him yet.
