2021 Las Vegas Raiders - PLAYOFFS!!!! (3 Viewers)

Lame.... They should be beating the Cheifs senseless. But they are cursed. Dumb, lame you name it. Its obvious to the average person why isn't it obvious to them,?

Completely uninspiring first half.
Defense looks flat and is getting destroyed by underneath throws and Kelse in the middle of the field.  The O seems to be using a different and wrong playbook.  They need to get back to running Jacobs and pass to Waller and Renfrow.

I better not see Carr take another check down on a third down tonight.

Every team finds Sorensen and exploits him.  I don't even know if he is playing tonight.

Again ...its gotta be emotionally exhausting going thru the ordeals they have had in a month ,time to nut up or  shut up

Hate all you want, and I know no one is hating, but Carr is dialed in ATM.

12-14 for 126 & 2

I think as much as people don't want to see it or say it, Gruden was a good sideline coach for this iteration of this squad. Gruden might not have been a players' coach, he might have made questionable personnel decisions, but this team wouldn't get beat like that with him on the sidelines, IMHO.

And it's still probably a good thing for you guys that he's gone because of the weirdness surrounding him and the personnel decisions. But the special teams coach doesn't seem to be the guy to lead you to the promised land.

Its November. Anyone who has watched, followed, anything at all, knows this is the time the Gruden era Raiders fade. It's not Carr's fault, it's the horrible draft picks Gruden and Mayock have made. Crosby and Hobbs dont make up for the wasted 1st round draft picks. This franchise is a joke.

Right now, the Arnette gun waving and the potential homicide caused by Ruggs that is preventing him from playing football are really impacting the Raiders. Those were questionable picks to begin with, now they look positively awful given what hindsight allows us to know. And can you imagine what Lynn Bowden was like to get traded right away? That gave me pause about all the young guys back then, and that they've wound up in the situations they did with loaded guns, threats, and drunkenness just seems to have followed apace from that trade. That must have been a bad, bad environment.

This isn't to take a shot at the Raiders. The Ruggs thing made me sick, both for what he did but with empathy for him and his fatal decision. Arnette was a different animal. That's not good-natured anything.

Same draft, right? Two first-rounders and they wound up with nothing. Franchises have a hard time missing so badly and staying at the top of the game.

bench carr and ride with mariota rest of season. derek does not have what it takes
Carr is not the problem.  He is not elite but he is good enough to beat any team in the league.   The problem is the lack of talent at WR (as has been for 20 years), a unimaginative offense, and a defense that can not adjust.

Thank you for saying this so I don’t have to.   This team needs a couple of years to rebuild.  The Raiders are going to enter the offseason with the same old grocery list.  OT. WR.  Defense.  Defense.  Defense.  Maybe the new regime will actually draft using common sense and not a dart board

Cee Dee looked good again yesterday.  Thanks Gruden.

First game of the season that I turned off before the end of the game.  It was the converted fake punt that did me in.  Yesterday was a game where KC got rid of their demons, the Raiders couldn't get out of their own way, and the ref's couldn't find their flag to call the numerous holds that Maxx was subject to.   Don't get me wrong, the lack of calls didn't cost the Raiders the game, but it sure added to the frustration of watching the game.

I'm still hopeful for the season and am not ready to punt the season just yet.  As very well documented the Raiders are dealing with unmeasured change, and coach B has been thrown into a fire few others could truly appreciate.   The Raiders are a game back in a tight division.  I'll take it.  Carr, over the season, has been playing very well.  Olsen needs to find his grove with play calling and game management.

On to the next.  Cincy is also in it's own 2 game slide.  Both teams will look to avoid the 3 game losing streak.

I thought the DJax play was a back breaker in this game.

If he just runs forward it’s a Raiders TD, instead of a KC FG the other way. 10 point swing making it 27-14 instead of 24-21 with some momentum.

Who knows how the rest of 2nd half would have gone given the KC offense starting to work, but seemed to be a big turning point in the competitiveness of the game.

Agreed, there wasn't any coming back from that moment.  And the Carr interception on the next possession confirmed it.

That play and Maxx gifting KC a first down with that stupid, stupid, roughness penalty after they stuffed Williams. It went from 2nd & 11 at the KC 36 to 1st & 10 at the Raiders 49.

This is a pretty good Raiders team but they aren't good enough to withstand mental lapses like that.

There were too many frustration errors, like Carr chucking it up to no one, although to be fair his arm was hit but it was a desperation heave nonetheless.

This team can't win if they play undisciplined, impatient football.

The DJax fumble was the crucial point that turned the game for sure out of our hands.

Carr's ill advised throw that got his hand hit and threw it up like a punt was the nail in the coffin.

Two missed INT's we should have had... Abram against Williams and Moehrig dropping the other one.

Maxx not feasting on the third string tackle.

Kelce killed us.

This really shows the value of Ruggs that he had on the offense, not just for his production but what it does to the whole offense in stretching the field and stressing the opposing defense. Every DB was scared of Ruggs speed. Zay isn't slow but he doesn't make DB's and DC's scared either. Hopefully DJax picks things up and gets more time and has the speed that does help.

Losing Ingold sucks. He is underrated in what he does for the offense.

I think Ingram is a big addition for the Chefs maybe not even for him but for being able to put Jones inside. Their defense played better than they have for a long time. Even when a particular player doesn't make the stats they can have an impact (neither Ingram or Jones got home but the d was creating a rough pocket for Carr most of the game).

An opportunity lost to take that first place in the division... hope returns for the hated Chefs instead.

the raiders got their ### kicked.  pure and simple.

carr's play in these last two games is the carr that everyone hates.  and rightfully so.  he's looked pretty bad.  personally, i don't think it's all due to a lack of ruggs.  it hurts the offense, but it's not like losing kupp or adams.  olsen is the problem, IMHO.  play calling is really really predictable.  and so are some of carr's audibles.

the right side of the line is still a huge problem.  the penalties alone, always seem to come at the worst times.  the run game desperately needs to be fixed.  not sure they have the talent on the line to do it.

djax fumble was back breaking.  hate to see ingold go down, love him.

this f'ing team.  breaks my heart every year.  i knew last night was going to be a beatdown.  there's still hope for this year, but it's slim. and slim just took a right cross to the face last night.  as i said before, they'll be lucky to win 3 more.

Are we sure punter AJ Cole isnt a distant relative of Ken Stabler?
With that long hair and beard he sure does look like him in that helmet lol

It’s disappointing that this season is most likely over and the Raiders will continue to fade.  It is a shame that Gruden was such a failure.  The AFC is weak and it wouldn’t have taken much for the Raiders to make the playoffs.

You can’t change the past but we can hope for a bright future. We are in a better place now that Gruden is gone and the Raiders have a chance to actually draft good players and build a team

Am I the only one that thinks the Raiders are gonna back up the Brinks truck for Davante Adams (assuming he hits the market)?

I could see it.  But two important questions need to be answered before that happens...
1.  Who is the head coach in 2022?
2.  Who is the QB the head coach wants in 2022 and forward?

And for the record, I'm a big Carr supporter.  But ... But... Adams will be acquired at market value because Carr will be pushing for him in the building.  If Carr's footing is shaky, then I'm not too sure it happens.

Well if Adams comes he will be coming to play with Carr.  They are very tight.  If Carr isn't the QB I don't see Adams wanting to come to Vegas.

I am surprised by the notion that the Raiders would move on from Carr. What other options do they have? MM? Please. I am not the biggest Carr supporter but I think he is clearly a top 15 QB. If the team moves on from Carr it will be their biggest mistake since drafting Russell.

I mean we shouldn't move on from Carr, but everyone has a price, if someone who's a QB away from contending offers us a boatload of picks then I think you at least have to look at it. Then again if you factor in at least half of said picks will likely be set on fire, stick with Carr

Moving on from Carr would be a huge mistake.   The Raiders will move on from Carr and not have talent at QB for years.  Poor decisions have consequences as the Raiders draft record proves every year and moving on from Carr will prove.

Consider the Raiders options at QB if Carr is moved out.  Give up a bunch of draft picks for Watson?   Losing draft picks that will be wasted isn’t a big deal but not sure Sin City would be a good home for Watson.  How about drafting and developing a QB?  Does anyone think the Raiders could draft a QB that could be a starter in the NFL?   Does anyone think the Raiders could develop a young QB?

Raiders signed WR Tyron Johnson to the PS.  Rapoport reporting a source thinks that he could see a quick move to the active roster.   Undrafted in the 2020 draft, he has spent time with the Chargers in 2020 (had a deep catch while covered by our own Abram) and Jacksonville this year.
