Majority of the team is plus defenders, with Jrue and Draymond being "short". Not worried about that at all, they've proven what they can do. Same with Caruso. Of others that would get playing time, Bey is 6'7" and McDaniels is 6'9", both with those long arms Jay Bilas gets erect for.Speaking of short....you probably have the shortest team in this thing as well.Thanks Jayrod. Main obstacle for this team will be how voters view Jokic's defense, but I knew that the second I chose to build around his game. All the statistical measures love his defensive game, but he doesn't always pass the eye test there. Which is why Jrue and Draymond were selected (plus they both move the ball on offense, which will compliment Jokic). We'll see how it plays out.

When we last saw TJ Warren healthy, he was averaging 28ppg on .566/.500/.913 shooting splits in the bubble while playing high level defense. His foot injury is very concerning and this may be a total waste of a pick, but if he does some how get healthy, he is a plus level starter with a skill set (switchable D, shooting, secondary ballhandling) that fits in with my team. at the 13/14 turn, there are very few affordable players that offer anywhere near that kind of upside.
I'm worried that the Nuggets are going to dump Nnaji for peanuts and he'll end up like some of their recent draft picks or young acquisitions that have gone on to be very successful elsewhere (Bol, Vanderbilt, Hartenstein, Beasley, etc.), but that might actually be an advantage for this pick . Nnaji has a valuable skill set that should fit in here - he is a very good three point shooter (43% of his career and his form looks like that kind of shooter) and good defender that can get low and slide his feet to reasonably pickup a smaller player on a switch (he's less impressive in the post where he can't handle centers and is an iffy rim defender). At worst, he's an NBA level shooter and athlete that can play spot minutes as a backup 4/5.

I was waiting until the end to pick my 15 player undrafted team, but Lillard, Dort, and Wendell Carter would be part of my starting group. If Michael Porter Jr stays healthy, he would help unlock that team a bit.
As far as my draft strategy went, I started with a cheap star in Williamson, then wanted to pair him up with an elite shooter/playmaker. Debated between Dame and Trae, but knew that Dame had a pretty down year last year, and wasn't sure he wasn't starting to slow down, so went with Trae. With Williamson and Trae, my starting offense is going to be great, but defense is definitely a concern, so needed to add a rim protector. Jarrett Allen isn't quite Gobert on the defensive side, but is an elite rim protector, and a better offensive player on a much cheaper contract. After that, I just needed to fill in my starters with 3-and-D guys, so grabbed Gary Payton, Mathurin, and Burks to fill out my starters (Most likely primarily Burks starting, unless we're going up against an elite guard that we need to shut down).
This group should be able to play with anyone, and left me with enough money to fill out a really good bench, led by Mike Conley.
