Props to the teams that selected D.Hilliard. Hassan Haskins was in all my iterations until the final roster and I flipped up to Pierce. It's still early but Henry didn't look great. The playcalling was also not great.

I think this is my final roster (but we'll see!):

QB - Kirk Cousins - MIN/7 - $14
QB - Matt Ryan - IND/14 - $10
QB - Geno Smith - SEA/11 - $6
RB - Dalvin Cook - MIN/7 - $29
RB - Saquon Barkley - NYG/9 - $26
RB - Dameon Pierce - HOU/6 - $10
RB - Khalil Herbert - CHI/14 - $9
WR - CeeDee Lamb - DAL/9 - $28
WR - Tee Higgins - CIN/10 - $26
WR - Courtland Sutton - DEN/9 - $19
WR - JuJu Smith-Schuster - KC/8 - $15
WR - Isaiah McKenzie - BUF/7 - $6
TE - David Njoku - CLE/9 - $9
TE - Albert Okwuegbunam - DEN/9 - $9
TE - Mo Alie-Cox - IND/14 - $6
PK - Evan McPherson - CIN/10 - $6
PK - Matt Prater - ARI/13 - $5
PK - Rodrigo Blankenship - IND/14 - $3
TD - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TB/11 - $6
TD - San Francisco 49ers - SF/9 - $4
TD - Baltimore Ravens - BAL/10 - $4

Total value: 250
I stopped reading at Geno Smith...
Maybe you should start reading again?

I knew this was coming. Well played my friend.

Not too many props since I also went with just 2 K’s and one is now serving frostees at a Wendy’s near you.

I gotta know... who.... oven-baked.... my bacon. WHO DID IT?

Wow, 151.25, thanks to Josh Allen, Pittman, and Kelce

Don't think I'll last beyond another week or two. 5 RBs combined for 12 points; DeVonta, WTF; five of this week's contributors were in single digits; 14 of 20 scored single digits.

he only had 12 snaps and 2 carries. obv he had a great fantasy game but really whats the realistic upside here? maybe a hines/mckissic type? if the big dog misses time certainly hilliard isnt going full 3 down bellcow. best case scenario is he splits carries with haskins like he did with foreman last year and gets the 3rd down role.

Week 2 starts with the Chargers and the Chiefs.

QB - Herbert (784), Mahomes (303)
They started the contest as the 17th and 26th most common. Both moved up a spot and we should see big scores for both again.

RB - Edwards-Helaire (755), Ekeler (735), McKinnon (418), Spiller (121), Michel (102), Jones (43)
Even though KC and LAC share a week 8 bye, 17 owners rosted both CEH & Ekeler, and all survived week 1!

WR - Smith-Schuster (2424), Palmer (1303), Williams (793), Valdes-Scantling (763), Moore (584), Hardman (490), Allen (398), Guyton (97)
I know it's only week 2, but missing a $24 WR is torture.

TE - Kelce (886), Everett (774), Parham (86)
Only 9 Kelce owners were eliminated.

K - Hopkins (872), Butker (547)
Butker was the 16th most common, but he may become rare quickly.

D - LAC (438), KC (412)
Two fairly uncommon defenses.

yeah i only survived bc of saquon and mahomes. everyone else had max like 11 points so im pretty concerned rn too.

Gerald Everett out scores Kelse! Njoku was not targeted last week but I still have Hayden Hurst and Mo Ali-Cox.

Week 2 starts with the Chargers and the Chiefs.

QB - Herbert (784 - 33.80), Mahomes (303 - 23.65)

Cut line still at 0, because only 7589 teams scored points.

Week 1 Rooster Review:
QBs Josh Allen (1071 live roosters - used once, Jared Goff (703). Yeah glad I didn't galaxy brain things late and switch out Allen. Somehow 26 Allen entries were eliminated in week 1! Goff wasn't looking great early but he picked up the slack late - 22.65 is perfectly respectable for a backup.

RBs Mixon (773 - used once), Barkley (2546 - used once), Pierce (6493), Z White (1236), Wilson (1573). Very happy with my top 2 guys, very worried about the other 3. Pierce was a bit of a week one dud but gotta figure he'll pick it up. I should be excited about the chance Wilson will get but with Shanahan who knows. White putting up a donut after the preseason hype - not great.

WRs Sutton ( 3765 - used once), Hollywood Brown (447 - used once), JuJu (2424 - used once), Pickens (3519), Palmer (1303), Watkins (1319), Berrios (230), Shenault (465). Similar to the RBs - the top 3 guys contributed and the rest - not so much. Berrios almost counted and it was nice to see him get that security blanket, floor receiver kind of usage. Shenault not dressing, Watkins being a ghost - not great. Can't give up on the hopes of Pickens and Palmer yet.

TEs Pitts (1620), Higbee (614 - used once), Hurst (696 - used once), Cade Otton (102). Higbee and Hurst look useful and counted so that's good. Pitts was a huge disappointed for sure - gotta hope that's an anomaly. Otton looks like another waste of $3 as he wasn't even dressed.

PKs McPherson (1101), Seibert (1043), Blankenship (5128 - used once). Well at least Blank got used once before getting canned. Just gotta hope he pops somewhere before the end of the year. Money Mac is fine - extremely unlucky to have the long snapper hurt like that but they already had another one on the practice squad who battled hard for the gig in the first place so I think that situation will be okay. Seibert only had to kick extra points but given he was on the injury report it was good to see he's fine.

DEFs Vikings (1395), Cardinals (730), Titans (971 - used once). Two of them scored decent enough - I think they'll serve me fine.

Worry about my depth but off to a respectable start. Used $157 out of my $250 so it's clear so far the big $ have mostly set the tone.

Besides the KC/LAC players above, here are contest players already OUT for week 2:

QB
Dak Prescott ($17 - 344), Zach Wilson ($8 - 111), Sam Darnold ($5 - 11), Deshaun Watson ($20 - 2)
Watson is my guess for the first extinct player. No common players of note here. Sucks to own Prescott.

RB
Elijah Mitchell ($18 - 1279), Brian Robinson ($7 - 838), Dontrell Hilliard ($5 - 279), Damien Williams ($6 - 135), Gus Edwards ($10 - 63)
Besides Mitchell, not alot to see here. Kamara ($28) and his 987 followers will be on pins and needles waiting for the early report.

WR
Michael Pittman ($24 - 1769), Michael Gallup ($9 - 898), Wan'Dale Robinson ($5 - 844), DeAndre Hopkins ($14 - 614), Rondale Moore ($11 - 611), Chris Godwin ($21 - 411), Alec Pierce ($7 - 384), Hamler ($8 - 295), Jameson Williams ($7 - 239), Van Jefferson ($7 - 220), James Washington ($3 - 105), Tyquan Thornton ($3 - 43), Auden Tate ($3 - 10)
Pittman's price and ownership level make him by far the most important on the list.

TE
Greg Dulcich ($7 - 47), Ricky Seals-Jones ($4 - 31), Anthony Firkser ($3 - 19)
Nothing to see here. Moving along...

K
Rodrigo Blankenship ($3 - 5128), Zane Gonzalez ($3 - 384), Ryan Santoso ($3 - 35)
I love this contest, but it's obviously not important to the nearly 4% who rostered a guy out for the year.

I think I will copy @QuizGuy66 and show my team's week 1 review:
QB - Cousins (2475 - used once), Carr (2929). Neither QB had a great game, but were serviceable. Both had a lower than average survival rate, but were far and away the most common. I expect them to remain the top 2 for the duration. Fun fact - Of the 32 QB's who started week 1, can you guess which 2 had no rushing attempts?

RB - Barkley (2546 - used once), Edmonds (2443 - used once), Pierce (6493), Z White (1236), Wilson (1570), Moss (712). My goal was simply to get 2 double-digit scores weekly, and use Superman every week. I felt RB was the least cost effective and decided to spend elsewhere. Sad fact - Saquon outrushed my other 5 RB's combined by 69 yards!

WR - Sutton (3765), St. Brown (2001 - used once), Kirk (1262 - used once), Smith-Schuster (2424 - used once). Like a butcher, I trimmed the fat here. No one over $19 or under $15, and all should see plenty of targets. Happy with the week 1 usage, but Juju's 3 targets and 4 points to start week 2 is not good.

TE - Kelce (886 - used once), Andrews (715 - used once), Pitts (1620). I crunched the numbers, and it said blow your wad on 3 TE's. In a perfect world, I will be getting my 2 flex scores here, but asking for 1 very good score from this trio shouldn't be a hard task. Let's hope Travis isn't my top TE this week.

K - Blankenship (5128 - used once), Seibert (1043). Decided to go for broke with a tiny roster, and I am already down to 1 kicker. In retrospect, I wish I would've traded Zack Moss for Graham Gano. Now I have to hope Seibert stays healthy and keeps his job, and also hope Rodrigo latches on elsewhere. This is the fun of a small roster, right?

D - MIN (1395 - used once), ARI (730). I'll be happy getting the league average from this duo, which is only a tad under 6 pts a game. 8 pts in week 1, so can't complain.

Good luck to all in week 2!

Here are more players OUT week 2:
QB - Mason Rudolph ($3 - 9)
RB - Alvin Kamara ($28 - 987), JK Dobbins ($21 - 411), Myles Gaskin ($3 - 129), Ke'Shawn Vaughn ($3 - 69)
WR - Julio Jones ($9 - 434), Laviska Shenault ($3 - 465), James Proche ($3 - 63)
TE - CJ Uzomah ($6 - 108), Kyle Rudolph ($3 - 590)

Loving me some Amon-Ra St. Brown today!!! 28.5 points and counting...

L-Jax with 47.2 points is also beautiful....

108 after early games. RBs sucking wind. Egyptian god of touchdowns bailing me out so far. That and an inexplicably decent defence score from a Ravens team that gave up 28 points in the 4th qtr.

Loving the Lamar + Andrews stack today.

192.90 after the early games with scores yet to start counting.... I feel like all the mojo is getting used up in one week..

I think I will copy @QuizGuy66 and @TheWinz and show my team's review as well.
QB - Jackson (1462 - used once, 91.78% survival), Goff (703, 90.01% survival). Picket (1082, 90.77% survival). Basically stacked BAL, DET, PIT. Never really focused on that before so this is an experiment in 2022.

RB - Swift (833 - used once, 97.43% survival), Williams (1342 - used once, 93.91% survival), Pierce (6493, 89.18% survival), Mostert (929, 88.14% survival), B. Robinson (838, 87.38% survival), Wilson (1570, 89.56% survival). Planned for two strong RB bases that have PPR abilities and then hope that the others step up at some point. Already seeing that with Wilson.

WR - Sutton (3765 – used once, 87.78% survival), Kirk (1262 - used once, 95.03% survival), Burks (282, 88.40% survival), Palmer (1303, 88.40% survival), Pickens (3519, 89.95% survival), Doubs (2266 – used once, 89.85% survival), W. Robinson (844, 89.12% survival). Looked for mid-level targets with a bunch of swing for the fence guys. All in all, decent first week.

TE - Andrews (715 - used once, 90.74% survival), Goedert (1744 – used once, 92.42% survival), Engram (728, 88.78% survival). Big fan of 3-4 TEs, stacked Andrews and liked the upside of Goedert and Engram.

K - Blankenship (5128 - used once, 90.36% survival rate for us, 0% for Blankenship), Seibert (1043, 89.53% survival), Gano (893, 88.17% survival). Always in on 3 Kickers, which worked out since Blankenship is gone already.

D – KC (412 – used once, 90.35% survival), DET (568, 86.98% survival). Looked at Ds that were used early and tried to avoid having byes with a D and K the same week. Also looked at the playoff weeks for easy Defense matchups.. Ironically, DET has a great run in weeks 15-17 if I somehow make it there.

Good luck to everyone this week!

My RBs are gonna make it tough to survive

RB Alvin Kamara - $280.00
RB Saquon Barkley - $2610.30
RB James Cook - $150.00
RB Chase Edmonds - $144.60
RB Dameon Pierce - $100.00
