We need to talk about Jayden Daniels, too.
this 100% happened. o'connell encountered things he never saw before and fangio made sure of that. kid has been through the gauntlet these last 3 gamesDon't judge a freaking rookie QB who started the season as the third QB (which means he basically saw very few real snaps in offseason and practices) on his first, what... 4 starts? And even more so going against likely the best CB duo in the league with one of the better pass rushers on the team as well.
Plus a very crafty and aggressive DC in Fangio, who I am sure was dialing up a bunch of exotic looks and blitzes that would have any rookie's head spinning.
Highly depends on our coaching staff. As a raging Buckeye I would love it but we have to have someone that will commit to designing to his strengths. I would not have been hopeful had McDaniels brought him in. If we keep AP and the current OC then I'm terrified we won't use Fields right but if we hire a guru like Ben Johnson then sign me up. Look what he did with Goff - gimme some of that and it can be with Fields, AOC, Ewers, Shedeur, anybody not named Zach Wilson.I would love to see Fields as a Raider.
Super intrigued there and Penix is in the conversation too.We need to talk about Jayden Daniels, too.
It’s great watching KC lose. Of course, they are still one of the best teams in the league but losing Tyreek has hurt that O. He is such a difference maker. Kelce is slowing down too and should retire at the end of the season. Being Mr Swift wouldn’t be a bad gig. Be great to see KC get beat often next season.awww
So sad KC lost at home
Lets see if they can rally next week against a RAIDERS DEFENSE thats playing over and above all expectations .
Raiders win by running 25 times and short clock controlling passes .

That guy is electric. Just glides through the defense and when it looks like guys have an angle on him he just darts through or past them.We need to talk about Jayden Daniels, too.
I watch a lot of PAC-12 (2) games and the ball jumps out of his hand like a rocket. Just looks different throwing the ball than other QBs. Reminds me of, dare I say? CJ Stroud a little. BwdikSuper intrigued there and Penix is in the conversation too.We need to talk about Jayden Daniels, too.
The issue KC has right now is it's WR Corps. They have tried to piece together something but it is a very unexciting group of receivers that might be able to get the job done but also can let the entire team down. The game last night there were two huge mistakes by the WR's that killed their comeback chances. One was the deep ball to MVS that he just dropped (Tyreek would have been in the end zone) and Watson dropping the ball to keep the drive alive. No matter how good your QB is, if your targets can't do the job then you can't get the job done. Right now, the KC receivers are hit and miss. It’s great watching KC lose. KC keeps rolling out 6-7 WRs every week instead of playing who they consider their best 3-4. Can't believe it helps timing to have that many different receivers involved. Rice is clearly their most talented guy, but he gets a minimal looks. Last night it was Watson getting the targets and he had a decent game, but he's just not that good. Getting 11 targets from Mahomes and ending up 5/53 says a lot.The issue KC has right now is it's WR Corps. Sometimes, for the better or worse, history shapes what we decide to do or not to do. I think Davis really regrets moving on from Bisaccia and hiring McD. Obviously that isn't going on a limb to say but what I really mean by that is that in many ways- Bisaccia and AP are similar though in very different styles. Both of them own the locker room and have total and complete loyalty and buy in from the players. Both are natural leaders. Both have been around football for a long time and were given opportunities mid season when they weren't exactly the first person the fan on the street would have guessed to take over after the firing of the HC. Both have taken a team in shambles and are steering them towards being a good football team.I think the rumors about harbaugh being interested in coaching the raiders are true.
our team is no longer so bad that the sought after big name coaches avoid it. hopefully if harbaugh or someone else with his stature does get the job, they don't get to demand GM powers with it.
That’s the way it has been foreverJust watched the first episode of the Dolphins Hard Knocks. Confirmed what I saw in real time on Sunday. ****ing ball moved as Ramsey came to the ground on the game-ending INT. No review, no replay on the broadcast. No talk of it anywhere. Raiders gotta beat the opponents and the refs every week. So whack.

I feel like if AP continues to get this team to play hard, win games and stay in games with the best of the best teams in the NFL even if we lose.... I think he gets the title even if Harbaugh asks if he can come in. I think the door is really on AP to close or open based on how the team plays for the rest of the season. So far, I think AP has closed the door on anyone sneaking in. If they fall apart then it reopens for Harbaugh or maybe someone else.
On top of all of that, I think Davis likes the Raiders, who have been trailblazers in the NFL with demographics, having a black President, GM and HC. It fits the Raider history and feels right as well as not being a bad PR thing as well.
You know… I wondered about that. No replay? They replay practically everything they can these days.Just watched the first episode of the Dolphins Hard Knocks. I think Champ and AP get the jobs unless the team completely collapses. Hardagree is the one that I think they should move on from. They need to wipe the slate clean on offense in the offseason. I understand they can’t do that mid season with a rookie QB but once the season ends they need to get rid of any remnant of McDummy’s offense once and for all.Sometimes, for the better or worse, history shapes what we decide to do or not to do. I saw it. Both live and on hard knocks. Still don’t think it was definitive enough to overturn. And the booth refs were supposed to look at it. Or maybe they had early dinner reservations. During the broadcast they showed one angle where you can see the ball move as he hits the ground. Once. The announcers said nothing. And they never showed it again or called for the review.
Conveniently cannot find that angle online. But Hard Knocks showed a similar angle with their shot and you can see it move. Raiders screwed yet again by the zebras.

Did you get to see a slow-mo zoom in? No. You/we should have.
It moved IMO - just as Ramsey hits the ground, the ball shifts in his hands. That exact situation has played out 100s of times in the last decade and overturned catches every time.

Part (not sure if they were discussions being made or not) that there were no draft deadline moves is that Davis communicated to not do anything and that changes were going to be made. I am not sure having a back up plan with your Assistant GM to take over the GM in place other than your normal contingency planning would be a wise organizational choice. That is just asking for dysfunction. Not

The Raiders have beaten the Chiefs with Carr and without Maxx , have faithRaiders D and team drop multiple tiers without Crosby. He makes everyone better around him, not just with the attention he gets, but because of his infectious energy and leadership. He's as MVP as it gets this season for any team, and it's hard to imagine any scenario where the Raiders beats the Chiefs without him.
Get well soon, Maxx.
