Yeah the French who think he should play for a country that he never lived in and enslaved his actual home country. I know that he considered it and has French citizenship, but he really has nothing to do with France so not sure why they are so butthurt

Somebody mentioned above (I think) but I think that is some value in him playing because it could help keep him in shape a little more. Not sure whether it really will increase his injury risk across the whole nba season
