Hoping to find time to get a look at this Gronowski kid at South Dakota St. today, playing against Oklahoma St. which will likely be his toughest test of the season. He's put up awesome numbers the past couple seasons, two time MVP of the FCS Championship game, Walter Payton award, etc. and reportedly turned down multiple six figure transfer offers to stay at SDSU. My cynical theory is he's done the math and probably thinks if he can pull off a Trey Lance maneuver the payoff will be better than if he moves to a mid level FCS school and gets exposed.

The key is McCall really becoming a real deal power 4 QB in this air raid offense.

The Wolfpack looked a little shaky and I will chalk that up to some jitters and a ton of new faces. But they are a dark horse team for me to get into the CFP and win the ACC.

-Ward takes a lot of risk in his approach, throwing against your body thru the middle of the field...dropping back 20+ yards when you are inside the 15-20 yd line, not smart
But this guys makes plays, very obvious he can buy time and find holes in the Defense.
