The injury I am most concerned about is Amani. We don't have any depth at CB and if Will Harris will be seeing significant playing time, we are in serious trouble. Ragnow is trending towards playing. Swift is closer to a coin flip. But I am comfortable with Reynolds and Jackson filling in. Both are very explosive and capable of running for 100+.

If Jonah Jackson cannot go, the Lions have three replacements on the active roster: Matt Nelson, Drew Forbes, and Kayode Awosika. But Nelson has only repped at right tackle in NFL games, while Forbes has only been with the team less than 10 days, and Awosika less than three. They also have veteran practice squaders Dan Skipper and Darrin Paulo, who are also options as elevations. Both were with the Lions for the majority of training camp and during the 2021 season—while Paulo was repping at guard in 2022.
Taylor Decker (calf), Michael Brockers (knee) and Julian Okwara (hanstring) were taken off the injury report.
Oruwariye hurt his back Thursday in practice, today was a planned rest day in the hopes he can suit up Sunday. As @jon_mx alluded to we're in trouble if Will Harris is taking a significant number of snaps. Melifonwu has only been practicing two weeks, probably a week away, and Jerry Jacobs is on the PUP. Bobby Price is the other option outside but all of his Week 1 snaps were on ST. Chase Lucas was a healthy scratch but will probably only play Slot CB or Nickel when he does see the field.

Offense and scoring points is not the issue with this team though. Need to learn to trust each other on D and sticking to your gap/assignment instead of playing hero ball. If Charles & Aidan start hitting QBs instead of just chasing them, the DBs will look a lot better.

Ragnow being out sucks because he is on of the best centers in the league but Evan Brown was solid last year when Ragnow was out. But I sure hope Jonah Jackson can play because the other options aren't very good. I have to wonder if Penei Sewell might slide inside with Matt Nelson at tackle. That was under consideration after Vaitai's injury before they settled on Stenberg.
Needless to say if we have to start Will Harris at CB it will be a long day. He is terrible.

Evan is a good player, we should be fine. Frank might have hurt us a bit playing through injury, his pass pro was un-Tank like. But I did see him pancake a guy on a short yardage carry. Second favorite play from Week 1 - nothing beats Rodrigo hip tossing Jason Kelce like he was a rag doll.
Love the physicality, on both sides of the ball. This team is really starting to create it's own identity.

Writers terming this a must win game for Lions are creating unnecessary drama. I guess they are referring to this in the context of this season but there are some now wanting to put the heat on Campbell and his future. Ungodly.
Need to evaluate this team over the whole season. By the end we will have a clearer picture of Campbell and the team's future though I think we will still be a work in progress.
I am concerned about what's happening at present with the OL. Just a nightmare. A few weeks ago, we were looking forward to seeing the OL play as a unit for the first time. Now we are looking at practice squad and other such talent protecting Goff. Really want to see Goff play through the season and not go down with an injury. Need to see if he can be the guy going forward. Lions have done all they can to boost his confidence and give him the tools to succeed.
Going with a rookie QB next year is not enticing for the next few years. May be Lamar Jackson will be an option.

It is only a somewhat must win if they plan on making the playoffs. Teams that start 0-2 rarely make the NFL playoffs.
Getting a little concerned about Rags and Swift being in the injury report every week though.
Yes, it is a must win if we want to get to nine wins, Campbell is not on the hot seat until next season. Next season they must be a team at least competing for the playoffs.

Lions holding as a one point favorite, injuries are not concerning the bettors for whatever reason.
Three starting OL out/doubtful is major. Amani missing would be a death blow. The only possible help is Jonathan Allen was added as questionable, but he was full participant in practice so he should be OK. Lions should not be favored at this point. The Lions can fill one OL position, but not three.
Both tackles are healthy and neal is a good replacement at center. If you have to fill in replacements on the ol, the guards are the least impactful.
At least, that's what I kept telling myself.

Swift is #5 in rushing yards, #3 in total yards, and #1 in ypc. Amon-Ra is #5 in yards, #3 in receptions, and #1 in TDs. Goff is #9 in QB rating with 6 TDs to 1 int. Not bad for guys who were ranked as 30th or below by the experts. It is only two weeks, but this offense is far better than people gave them credit. I had them as a top 10 offense. I think they are more like a top 5 and they don't even have their most dangerous threat yet.
Even more impressive was doing all of that with 3 backup offensive linemen. Dan Skipper came from the practice squad and started at guard. He hadn't played guard since his freshman year in college. Very impressive.

Need to see the tape but I don't recall him giving up any of the McLaurin receptions. He's also playing the run really well this year.
Another good game from Rodrigo. I still can't believe Holmes found unearthed a player that good in the 6th round.
If Hutch stays healthy he's a solid favorite for DRotY. It's early in the year, let's see if he can maintain some consistency. Obviously whatever the thigh injury is, he was limping significantly when he walked off after the game. Didn't have the same impact after he got hurt, hope it's nothing serious. Kid has quite a motor; he's everything we hoped he would be.
ETA: Hutch coming off
Ben Johnson is everything we hoped he would be. The offense was stalling, four possessions and one first down while Washington got back in the game. Man did we need a play in the worst way, and ARSB's 58 yard reverse saved the day.
I bet Jamo is chomping at the bit wanting be part of this.
Three phase win. Mr Jack Fox is a great weapon to have given how much our defense will bend in stretches.
