2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Schedule leak: Eagles to host TNF game week 1 vs either an NFC or AFC opponent. (6 Viewers)

The Eagles are taking Ty Robinson, DT from Nebraska.
Really got nothing on this guy here’s what Steve Muench has

Robinson started 47 games at Nebraska, and he worked out well at the combine. Among defensive linemen, he had the fastest 40-yard dash (4.83), second-best broad jump (9 feet, 11 inches) and fourth-best vertical jump (33.5 inches). His tape reflects the testing. He explodes off the ball, shoots his hands and pushes the pocket. He tracks the quarterback well and has active hands. Robinson is also effective picking blockers and looping around when running line stunts. He slips blocks and gets into gaps as a run defender. And he can set the edge when he lines up on the outside. -- Steve Muench

I keep wondering if our "QB factory" takes on Shedeur at one of these late picks.
It’d be funny but honestly it’d be a great situation
Yeah, that's why I keep thinking it. Not sure if we even interviewed him to see how bad his interviews were? He was projected by most as a 2nd, if not, 1st rounder. Take him in the 4th/5th as a "value" after he eats his humble pie and flip him for better after he gets the stink of this draft off of him.

People laughed at the Hurts pick too initially...

At this point there's no fear of a QB controversy with Sanders. So yea maybe take a developmental pick on him. We need a QB3.

I’d take him over Dorian Thompson whatever his name is. That guy was embarrassing to watch

I think the Eagles would be a good fit for Sanders. Our team is loaded with SEC guys that win championships. We'll know pretty quick if Sanders is for real or if we need to move on.

Come on man, have you not observed how Howie operates?? If they were going to draft him they wouldn’t have made their intent known.

So a guy with some Special Teams experience

Pre-Draft Analysis

McWilliams explodes upfield and closes quickly, breaking on passes. He ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the combine, and that speed shows up on tape. He sorts out route combinations effectively and follows the ball as soon as it's in the air. He's on the smaller side with short arms, so he misses some tackles. But he's tough and shows the ability to knock the ball out before receivers can finish the catch. McWilliams primarily played outside at UCF, but he also played over the slot at times. He covers kickoffs and averaged 10.8 yards per punt return in college. -- Steve Muench

Mondon JR

Pre-Draft Analysis

Mondon had 201 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 7 sacks in three collegiate seasons. He tied for the quickest 10-yard split (4.58 seconds) out of the linebackers at the combine, and that burst shows up on tape where he beats blockers to the point of attack. He ran well at the combine, makes quick reads and closes well. Mondon gets to depth, reads the quarterback and breaks on the ball well when dropped into coverage. He matches up well with tight ends and is a threat to get to the quarterback. He should push for early playing time on special teams. -- Steve Muench
Kendall
Kendall started 37 games at center, and his father, Drew, played offensive line in the NFL for 13 seasons. Kendall tied for the second-fastest short shuttle time for the offensive linemen at the combine. He moves well on tape and he would fit in a zone-heavy run scheme. Kendall gets some push and tracks linebackers well on combo blocks. He can get around the corner fast when he pulls, and he plays with a strong base. Kendall is quick to latch onto a defender after snapping the ball, and he looks for work when he's left uncovered. -- Steve Muench

So very happy we let someone else draft Sanders. I could be wrong, very easily, as I really do not know much about him other than who his father is and some basic college stats but, I got the impression he would be bringing a lot of unnecessary baggage with him wherever he landed.

I really like the Eagles selections today. Looking forward to finding out more about each one.

GO BIRDS!!
