A day late but RIP Frankie Beverly, the frontman of Maze. They were Marvin Gaye proteges who had a bunch of R&B hits in the late 70s and 80s but never were able to crossover to the Pop charts. They were particularly big in the Bay Area because Frankie and the band moved here from Philadelphia early on.

For better or worse, I always associate her with Thetis from the original Clash Of The Titans first, since that's the first role I saw her play. She was, of course, great in the role, pretty chilling when she let the doomsaying fly.

Lesser known…but as a kid id be subject to Days of our lives when sick and and Grandma’s house. Then in college it became a fun thing to watch and laugh at our apartment with our girlfriends. RIP John Black. This guy was born to be a soap opera actor.
