I don't even know what you're talking about. Where are you seeing or hearing the word "pivot"?No idea what the context is.

The use of the word "pivot" needs to stop...quick, fast and in a hurry.
It's like some sort of verbal flu...everyone is using it for every profession lately.
Want saying it was misused...just entirely OVERused.Ilov80s said:Pivot seems to be used properly, no issue with it. For example I hear people saying, "Now that Hillary has the nomination wrapped up she can pivot to a general election strategy." "Trump is now trying to pivot from earlier statements that he would ban all Muslims from entering the country."
As for eating, it's this:

"Pivot" is this year's "optics" in political chatter.Pivot is being used by every political talking head lately and it's just driving me nuts.
Stop wearing heels.Women who take their heels off at an event and think its ok to walk around barefoot. It's an embarrassing epidemic at weddings. PUT YOUR SHOES BACK ON!
I am not going to do anything that encourages women to stop wearing heels.Stop wearing heels.
Amen to this one, especially the doosh guy in the Chevy commercialsHipster Beards. It stopped being cool when 50% of all the men at my company grew them. Now you just look like a conformist doosh. Or James Harden.
Is there a difference between a beard and a hipster beard?Hipster Beards. It stopped being cool when 50% of all the men at my company grew them. Now you just look like a conformist doosh. Or James Harden.
Absolutely. The hipster beard look is very consistent person to person. Which is why the "uniquely conformist" factor has become so ironic. Is there a difference between a beard and a hipster beard?
Is it the crazy long beard? How does one have a beard and avoid the hipster beard?Absolutely. The hipster beard look is very consistent person to person. Which is why the "uniquely conformist" factor has become so ironic.
Google is your friendIs it the crazy long beard? How does one have a beard and avoid the hipster beard?
Except if you Google "beard" you basically get the exact same results.
Don't be a doosh.Ilov80s said:Is it the crazy long beard? How does one have a beard and avoid the hipster beard?
Ok, now that we have that out of the way, can we continue having a normal conversation? I asked a legitimate question as I sometimes like having a beard, but don't want to be thought of as a hipster. If I was trying to be a #####, I would have just replied to someone having a conversation here and called them a name.
I gave you an answer. As long as you're not a doosh, you should be OK. I wasn't calling you a doosh.Ok, now that we have that out of the way, can we continue having a normal conversation? It might depend on how old you are. I feel like the mustache mostly died at some point in life the 80s/early 90s. However, lots of "dads" kept them (many still). Did people think they just couldn't give it up or just chalk it up as middle aged dad look? Will the beard just become the new dad look? The only thing I hate about hipster beards is that it has been my signature look from December to March for nearly a decade. Going forward will I just look like a hipster that couldn't let go?
To be clear I just mean the overgrown beard, not the handle bar or spiraled mustached kind.
My apologies, I took it the wrong way. Although I still think your answer is a bit vague.I gave you an answer. As long as you're not a doosh, you should be OK. I wasn't calling you a doosh.
The hipster beard is just as much about mentality as it is the look. They exude an air of superiority with a ridiculously long beard. So as long as you act normal, people won't really care.My apologies, I took it the wrong way. Although I still think your answer is a bit vague.
or guys who grow the beard, but shave the rest of their body. #### them right in their stupid beards, right furls?you know what i'm sick of? guys who shave their faces clean
we're men, for #### sake, not women. you were bred to have hair on your face to serve as a sign of your virility. puberty came and went. you aren't 10 anymore. be a man.

rhythmic gymnasts too.men who aren't professional swimmers shave their bodies?
I can't possibly imagine what would be wrong with this.Starting to think 90% of single women in their 30s do yoga every day and have a dog who is their "kid".
Stop that whole thing please.
fit women wearing tight clothes.... i'm not coming up with anything that could be wrong hereI can't possibly imagine what would be wrong with this.

Exactly right, if you look through those google images, you also see the hipster hairstyle, glasses, clothing, ink... etc.The hipster beard is just as much about mentality as it is the look. They exude an air of superiority with a ridiculously long beard. So as long as you act normal, people won't really care.
What could be wrong is you thinking just because they are single, they are fit.fit women wearing tight clothes.... i'm not coming up with anything that could be wrong here
