Actions/trends that need to be retired immediately (2 Viewers)

For the love of God, please stop tucking your ears into your ballcaps. Here in SoCal, it's a huge whitetrashy sorta thing, but I see the likes of Colin Kaepernick and other wannabe ghetto thugs pulling this off too. I guess it's one of those things where trashy white dudes are trying to "keep it real, yo".

Throat punch imminent.
It's not just me....

Has anyone mentioned selfie sticks yet? Further proof of how narcissistic we have become as a society, and an increasing public health hazard. Just heard on the radio today that the first official death directly tied to a selfie stick occurred this past weekend, when a guy in Wales was using it to photo an oncoming thunderstorm, and got nailed by a lightning bolt. I'm glad more places are banning them.

Selfie sticks are good for beating people who use them.

Cold/Hard butter packets at restaurants. Does anybody in the world prefer this over soft and spreadable?
This drives me nuts. Zero chance of spreading.

I hold 'em between my palms for a good 30-45 seconds, seems to do a little bit.

Mmm, butter.

People strolling out from the sidewalk and into the parking lot without even a glance left and right to see if a car is coming. Yes, technically pedestrians have the right of way in this instance, but you're willing to bet your life on it?

I hate this, too. I also hate when pedestrians walk extra slow, or stop and yell back to other members of their group while in the crosswalk. Yes, I get that you have the right of way, but keep moving, people.

Not to mention the ones - usually found in store parking lots - who take the most gradual angle possible to take the longest time to cross a lane in front of you.

What's wrong with back packs exactly?
 Unless I'm travelling on business that's what I use for my carry-on.
I've used the same backpack since college for any trips I take. It's convenient to have a bag that doesn't weigh on only one shoulder.
Maybe I'm alone here. I just think it's goofy seeing a guy in a shirt & tie or a suit walking around with a backpack on both shoulders. I can't really give an explanation beyond thinking that it looks out of place.
Who wears ties? Or suits?

That's gotta go

It has probably been mentioned. The "faux hawk". Grown men putting more product in their hair than most women.

Between your palms you say? Good idea - that'd be much less awkward. :takingnotes:
I guess you could sit on the packet for a minute or so.

I mask what I'm doing by pretending to pray, but I'm really just un-freezing the butter packet. HTH

I keep several in my pants at all times.

People in the left turn lane reading their phones. Arrow turns green, sits there, then floors it as it turns yellow.

Taking pics - and subsequently posting to Facebook - of your pets after they've destroyed something in your house with cute little hand-written notes, explaining in some cute little fashion why said animal destroyed said item. Lame beyond belief... just stop.

I just think about how ####### fast that ####### dog would be gone if it were mine.

Saying that a football player will be on a "pitch count."

Football players don't pitch.

And "snap" is the same ONE syllable as "pitch".

I think DeMarco Murray will get a ton of RBI's this year. Brady rained down a couple jumpers from three point land last night. Looked good. As long as he keeps his penalty minutes down this year, I could see them doing well on the power play.

NFL Media's Tiffany Blackmon reports that Jones will play Thursday night, but the Atlanta Falcons' staff will "monitor his pitch count," according to a team source.

I guess he won't be doing any end arounds where he passes. With a baseball.

Being upset that you see Christmas decorations/ads "too early" in the year. Does it really affect you? I don't understand why this actually makes people angry.

"Did I just see a Christmas commercial for Best Buy? It's only November 1st! :hot: Great! Now I'll never be able to come up with a cure for cancer!!! "
