All Android/Google All the Time (2 Viewers)

I bought an s7 yesterday. came with the vr goggles and wireless fast charge base. This is the most I have ever paid for a phone. 

 
Phone prices are ridiculous.  I have bought 3 Vizio smart TVs this year, 32, 43, 60 all for less than my Pixel.

I never realized Iphone were subsidized also.  Just bought my son one - was lucky to catch the black friday deal

 
Is there any guys here with a OnePlus 2? Did you receive the 3.5.5 Oxygen update? I did, and now in can't get LTE data. Just 4G. Trying to read the OnePlus boards didn't seem to be getting me anywhere. Too many foreigners with bad engrish to understand. 

ETA: I'm running on Net10

This smaller screen is going to take a lot to get used to. I didn't realize how much smaller it got thanks to the on-screen nav buttons.

 
Any recommendations on a better keyboard for the pixel? Not really digging the one that came on it.

I switched themes and turned on borders for the keys. MUCH better.

 
Been using my S7 for a couple days now, having upgraded from the S4 I had for years. Outside of the typical things you expect to see with newer electronics (faster, better camera, bigger/better screen,etc) there really doesn't appear to be much difference between the two. Which is great for me because I loved my old phone and I'm only paying $10/month for this but I can imagine being frustrated by the lack of development if you paid full price to upgrade from the S5/6.

I upgraded my wife from the s4 to s7. Still need to get everything set up for her but that's good to know as she was used to her old phone as well.

 
Is there a way to increase the font size display on this board? When I type messages the input box responds to the chrome settings but the output on the forums itself does not.

I can't tell the difference in the screen caps you posted, and I came from a note 4 as well.

The Google keyboard is the best I have tried so far.  I have been using it for years.  You can change the size/ color in settings.

But Jesse gave me the good blue stuff.

Verizon customer service is also a cluster. They won't give me any documentation showing i will get black friday credits on the phones or the 200 per line for switching. Basically it's just trust us, it will show up on 3rd bill. I had to argue for line credits too. Because i didn't switch over on black friday itself and it took them 5 weeks to send the phones i have to deal with a bunch of bs. Annoying.

They were on backorder everywhere. I'm sure Verizon will honor it.  They want you as a customer.

 
Ok Im over bloatware, and rooting the Galaxy S5 is too damn confusing (Ive rooted my past phones but this one is just seems like its too much hassle). Whats a good phone without bloatware in the $300 range? I dont need the latest and greatest, but want something that isnt loaded with several gigs of crap. Im on AT&T if that matters.

Still a huge cluster. Been chatting for over an hour. Being told I will not get everything I was offered.

We had att since 2004 and have 5 lines with 30gb of data. Every month for the past year we were getting overage fees.  We called retention and they offered 25 gbs :lmao:  at the same price.  It's was a PIA to switch over , kid at sprint screwed things up and we left after 2 hrs of him dicking around . Got everything resolved over the phone with no issues. I'm paying about $150 less with all but 1 new phones. Now just waiting for new phones 

Sprint had good coverage around us and also at my Ds campus , T-Mobile wasn't as good around her. . Verizon isn't an option , hate the company , would give handies at the supermarket parking lot to make the price difference before going to VZW.

Was paying around $320 after a 25% monthly discount, paying $170 with new equipment and unlimited data.

Now I have big time anxiety over not having iMessage . Might return the LG when it arrives

Sweet deal. How you are with Verizon, I am with Apple. Can't stand the company. Wife bought me a new iPad last year because she's always pushing Apple so I'm using it but can't wait to move on.

Update. So Amazon video app is installed but no separate app/icon

If I go in through underground I can't download etc.

So I have to go in the underground app click video settings then it launches the actual app and I can do everything.  Not sure who's bug this is

I go into underground

Select my apps

Open Amazon video and everything is setup correctly 

Use the Amazon video dropdown and it doesn't

That is the phone I was thinking too... Maybe the Moto Z Play (or whichever version it is with the big battery)

Only some videos will download with Amazon video.  I downloaded a few titles for a trip around Thanksgiving and it worked fine.  A year or two ago I had an issue with DLs, but needed to update the app.

No I understand that.  Maybe I'm not explaining it right.

I installed Amazon Video App - however no Amazon Video App app shows up in my App Drawer on my phone.

Now if I go into the underground APP - Amazon Video Home - and I search I can't download anything.

If I go into MY Apps in the Underground app and open Amazon Video - It opens with a black background and I can download the video I couldn't before.

Here are screen shots.   Notice the back ground color is different and the one shows my Archer videos.

The dark background I can downlaod from the white background I can't - the option never shows up.

For example - I go to Gleason on the white screen.  Can't download. Go to Gleason using the dark back ground - I can

I'm not sure when it was added over the last few years but I think my favorite "new" feature on Android is the Smart Lock and being able to bypass the normal unlock process when I'm at one of my "trusted places".

 
Google calendar finally has a month view widget.  Another widget I have been using is the Google keep.  Set it to show pinned notes, then have grocery pinned.  Works well for sharing with 2 people.

I dumped Pocket/Evernote in favor of Keep several months ago. Really happy with it. I have been using the voice note aspect of it a lot more than I thought I would.
