I know there's a topic on Fred right now, but I thought this would be more appropriate on its own. If you haven't checked this out yet, I'd like you to. Anyone who isn't familiar with how good this guy is would benefit from watching, and those that already believe so should enjoy it.

Unfortunately, fan voting has passed, but it's still a nice video I hope (sorry in advance if this has been posted).

I actually already posted a link to it in the other thread. Nice job on it by the way. Did you heard Pete Prisco pimping it all afternoon on his radio show a few days back? He must have mentioned it 20 times and had high praise for the work you did. This is also worth a look:LINK

Lageman breaks down a few Taylor runs. I love the one where Fred jukes the blitzing LB and then jump cuts to avoid the safety all behind the line, he then break another tackle and what should have been a 3 yard loss is a 12 yard gain.

I love that smartboard video clip of Fred's quick cutbacks on the unblocked defender run. I had that in the video but didn't have that angle, it's insane.

And no, I didn't know that! That's neat, thanks.

:lmao: I liked that.

It's been fun watching Freddy run throughout the years. Pro Bowl or no Pro Bowl, he's fully appreciated by me.

The "Old Guy" can still run, can't he.

He looks as quick as I've ever seen him.

A new Jaguars fan here at FBG? What is that, 6 of us now?

NO jags fan here, but i am really impressed with them this year garred has really made this team very tough.

Awesome vid. I voted for Fred, he is long overdue. Truly one of the most under appreciated RBs in the last 20 years. People got too caught up in a few of his early injuries. Fred's combo of speed and and power are truly impressive.

Excellent video, well done. (Tho i dislike Evanescence.)

I didnt know Fred Taylor was that fast WOW. His speed in madden needs deserves a boost.

This is when FF clouds reality. "Fragile Fred" really stuck, but shouldn't have. Then, you had the next big thing in MJD, which FFer's drool over. And if that's not enough, he ends up in a small market all these years.

Love Fred Taylor.

As far as I knew Fred's always been "a pro's pro" who everyone around the league respected but he just never got the national media attention.

It's too bad he was labeled "Fragile Freddy". His injuries were not the result of his condition but unfortunate circumstances. YES, he deserves to come visit us in Hawaii in Feb. :lmao: 2008.

I remember flipping the channels and seeing that run where he knocks the Colts safety flat on his ### and I remember thinking "Damn that MJD is powerful!" Then I saw it was Taylor and thought about how bad the Fragile Fred label was for a few early injuries.

Definitely a guy who is underappreciated given his ability and achievements. Interesting to see how many of those runs depicted in that clip came out of a one back set. JAX O line looked like it created some good lanes, and taylor's ability to be at full speed at the line of scrimmage really enables him to skip past into the secondary with apparent ease.

One of my fav's of all time. He's missed over two season's worth of games and has still put up great numbers. 4.6 a carry is awesome. If he had played almost anywhere but Jacksonville, this post wouldn't have had to been made.

FYI, it's 4.64 per carry and the NFL rounds up so it could officially be 4.7 per soon if Fred keeps up his current pace.

I for one dismissed Taylor this year and admit to drinking the MJD Kool-Aid. Taylor had more left in the tank than I thought. Good job Freddy T.
