Episode was unreal. She really went off the rails when she tried to say they hadn't fired 50 people in a year and Samy said it was actually over 100.

I don't know if it was the real facebook or the fake one, but they posted "please stop calling and harrassing us"...

Needless to say, I'm sure their phone has been ringing off the hook today (if they're even open/there).

Real address was also posted a few times (which is pretty shady, except, from the comments, they live in a ritzy gated community)

So a friend of mine and I went by Amy's today at 5:30 (they opened at 5:00 today, and we live near Scottsdale) because we thought it would be fun to dine in, scope it out, and see if any 'reddits' might decide to do anything stupid. We went up to the door and saw a sign that read "The Patio is Closed Today," and there was a professional camera man inside who was adjusting his camera so that he could shoot the dining area. Niether he nor his camera had any insignia that would indicate that he was representing a news agency; he looked like he had be privately hired.

As we approached the glass front door, crazy lady came up to the door with her iphone in a pink case, smiling widely and uncomfortably, taking pictures of us, presumably because she realized that two mid-twenty dudes were probably from the 'reddits' and trying to cause trouble. So we chickened out and went and got gelato a couple doors down instead.

A half an hour later, we decided that we would go by again and approach make it clear that we were just there to eat and nothing more. The lights were out, the camera man had gone, but we saw the owners in the kitchen where the light was still on, and they were talking to each other in an animated way. So I knocked, and the mafia dude came to the door, opened it, and said, "what do you want?" I told him, "we were just interested in trying a couple of your appetizers, and you open today?" He said, "No, we are not open. We don't need your money. Try Pita Jungle next door. They have great appetizers." So we told him "thanks" and went on our way.

Very uneventful.

These people are clearly off, and at least a little bit crazy, but not totally senseless. They were obviously expecting some giant Yelp/Reddits gathering, and I wasn't sure if they were disappointed, or relieved. There's a good chance that they're trying to use an extreme amount of negative attention to make their business relevant or land a reality tv show or something grand, which is all too common these days. Then again, they could just be THAT crazy. Anyway, it was fascinating even thought it wasn't terribly exciting, and around 7:00 some other reddit-ers showed up and we had a quick chat, but the owners had already peace-ed out.

Anyway, not sure if anyone was curious about an update, but some other reddit-ers were last night, so I thought I'd post this somewhere in case anyone was curious.

This either ends with Amy committing suicide, murdering someone or they get a reality tv show.

I left out insurance scam, I could see them torching the place.

Can you imagine how wild she must be in the sack? Imagine getting into a nasty argument where she's throwing pots and pans, then the makeup sex. I'm picturing damaged furniture and serious claw marks on skin. I'll bet she likes to be spanked as hard as possible, maybe even choked.

As previously mentioned in this thread, for four months I lived at the beach with a bipolar girl who refused to take her medicine "because she likes who she is". What I didn't say was that she was a former college cheerleader, and hotter than the surface of the sun. Take it from me, while it does make the secks better, it's not worth it in the slightest. Take away the hotness but leave the crazy, and you have this chick.

She didn't. Served 14 months. The place was actually closed during that time apparently.

I actually feel a little bad for the husband. He was probably alone and desperate and fell for the first blonde who looked his way. She played him like a fiddle since the beginning and he is scared of her

Amy & Samy are being left serious threats that have them fearing for their safety. The restaurant will be closed until they feel safe enough to return to work. They are human just like all of us. I ask all of you to take a step back and think of how your comments, threats, actions can impact others. We all make mistakes, and we all deserve to bounce back from them. Thank you.
