Agree with this. It's pretty crazy some of the guys you find in fantasy starting lineups at the tail end of the season, even among the teams fighting for the championship.Yes. Assuming week 14 is your look and see week, that leaves 15 and 16 for possibly rolling him out. For me he is RB depth that could come in handy on some RB thin teams that will be in the playoffs. These types of plays can be handy, just like Beanie Wells and Ryan Grant in 2012. They did basically nothing all year and then won championships. This is exactly why I'm still holding onto Ellington. David Johnson has been really good with very limited touches but it seems like Arians is hesitant to unleash him - I think Ellington can be a fantasy starter IF he can get healthy soon.If Ellington were healthy I have little doubt he would be running as the starter with David Johnson 2nd in line. That's how Arians roles. He likes his veterans first.
That said, with only a few weeks left I definitely think you can ditch Ellington if you need to make a move. For me personally, I'm gonna need to see his usage for at least one week before I can start him. By the time he's healthy and you're comfortable rolling him out there, how many weeks are left?
Especially in a year like this, it's hardly a stretch to see Ellington being a guy you might roll out there week 15 or 16 if he shows anything this week or next.
