Antonio Bryant victims... (1 Viewer)

Went into tonight up by 29, and my opponent got 31 from Antonio Bryant. My season's over... tragic ending...

Had a 12 point lead & S.Smith against him in one non-PPR league but the worst was up by 40 (and done) in a PPR and losing by one point as that scumbag put up 41. He finished me off in three leagues tonight.

:headbang: ;) :ptts:

i was lucky. i was up by nearly 70 points in my league, and bryant put up 46... phew...

i had a giddy owner walking around the office before the game boastig about his 28-point lead and ''all the guy has left is antonio bryant.'' he wasn't too giddy after it was over.

Sorry fellas. I was down by 40 after Sunday, but my two remaining players were ... you guessed it, Antonio Bryant and Steve Smith. Playoff round #2, here I come.

 Had an 18 point lead and the Tampa "D" going in
Wow... I had a 32 pt lead and TB Def..... he had A Bryant & Moose MuhammadTB Def got me -5.

I lost by 18

The only good thing is that I squeeked into the final playoff spot since the other team in contention lost too!

Down by 19 playing against Bryant, I had DeAngelo. Every dang time DWill would give me some hope, Bryant would dash it immediately following.

Faced Bryant and Williams who scored 21 points a piece and managed to survive and qualify for the playoffs by a mere 2 points.

He had 49 in our league but the Matt Bryant missed XP saved my #### and I won by less than a point....wew

One loss all season, # 1 record in the league, and lose to the # 8 seed because this clown blows up. Not that I'm venting or anything............

words i never thought i'd say: i should have traded steve smith straight up for antonio bryant

TD only league, up 1 point, guy has Bryant after the 1st half I start feeling good. When he caught the 50 yarder I was so pissed, he ran the DB over, then the other guy dances with him, for the last 10 yards, so I was happy when I woke up, and saw he scored twice. However, same team beat me last week with Steve Slaton on monday, if I win last week I end up 1st with a bye, and he doesnt make the playoffs. Slaton beats me, he's in, and now we play in the 1st rd. hat happens, he beats me AGAIN on Monday night. This is why I'm getting tired of fantasy football, guys bringing in a magazine from early summer to a sept draft and winning.

Bryant had the biggest point game of ANYONE in our league this whole SEASON. I was lucky and survived him. My margin of victory was the Colts D who I picked up off wavers a couple of weeks ago thinking the Cincy matchup (and Detroit next week) was promising. Little did I know it would save my season.

Was up by 30 heading into last night facing Bryant. He sent me packing. I'm still in shock. To say Antonio Bryant killed my season proves how ridicolous this game really is.

I was already winning by 30 points, but having Bryant gave me the highest score of the season this week

What magazine from early summer would tell a guy to draft Antonio Bryant? Sounds like the guy was a smart owner to me... you shouldn't b so down on yourself.

Up by 30 pts going into Monday night. My wife had A. Bryant. I lost by 20. She knows football, but still. Receivers get 5 bonus points once they reach 100 rec yards. They get an additional 7 bonus points once they reach 170 rec yards.

The Colts D gave me 50 and Chris Johnson gave me 27 and I still lost. Wow. Just wow.

I already cried out in one thread already

She better win the whole damn thing now. I had a good shot

I didn't start Bryant, just the Tampa D. Would have tied his score and won on the tie breaker if I had started him. :lmao:

I benched Indianapolis in favor of Minnesota.

I DROPPED Antonio Bryant for Eddie Royal since I had Cutler and they were playing KC at home.

I benched Vincent Jackson in favor of Jerricho Cotchery.

I was down 15 before the night started and only had... DeAngelo Williams, my hero.

And despite these HUGE mistakes, I won by 9. Unreal.

Apparently Im going to lose because Antonio Bryant got 32 points last night and my opponent had Ryan Grant and I guess CBS sportsline gave him credit for a fumble he did not have. Im goign to lose by one freaking point because of sportsline and their idiotic tactics

Very similar to our league. Tampa Bay D got negative points (yards/points allowed) and Bryant got like 37. Trounced him. In our other wildcard game, I guy had a 39 point lead going against DeAngelo. Held on to win by 4 points.

I think the thread is for Bryant victims to commisserate. For every Bryant victim there's a Bryant winner, but they should have their own bragging thread.

same here, second in scoring this week also, up 30 something sunday night, I hate fantasy football sometimes :hophead:

Had Bowe, Hightower, ADP and Brees all underperform. Had Stewart, Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush on the bench. Was down by 27 and had Bryant left...... You should see the smile on my face.

this thread should be saved for all those off season luck vs skill questions... it is a classic case of how luck plays a huge part once playoffs start and it's one loss and you are out...

I was up by 26...opponent had Antonio Bryant, I had Matt Bryant....ABryant scored 32, MBryant had 5...I lost 99-98, because MBryant missed the extra point...I would have won the tie breaker...defending champ eliminated :bs:

i actually started him in the NBC $100,000 challenge with access to everyone except for boldin, jennings andreggie wayne.

Benched VJax and was bumming until Bryant came around and whacked the poor batsurd and his puny Tampa DEF.

Bryant had the highest single-week WR total so far this year.

I sat him in my playoff game, for Colston and Hixon.

Do I count as a victim? I sure feel like one....the same way Plex felt like a victim after he shot himself.

Was up by 10 going into the game with Steve Smith/John Kasay vs Bryant. Thought it would be easy, ended up winning by only 4. Carolina secondary was playing like a bunch of 'tards!!

I had Bryant on the bench.... but won anyway
Me too. Started D.Driver instead cause I wasn't crazy about Garcia against Carolina and thought that might bode poorly for Bryant. Had Garcia on my bench as well, but I never considered starting him over M.Cassell this week. But Bryant I actually had IN my lineup and changed it on Sunday AM! I would have set a 15 year league record for high score had I not pulled Bryant.

I think the Bryant Benchers deserve their own thread. That's far worse than losing to him IMO.BTW, where is the Westbrook/Cardinals D Victim Thread?

Even worse if ya lost because ya sat him...but still could have won if ####### Dixon didn't drop an 85 yd td.....

:goodposting: Especially if you won (or lost) your game on that insane catch in the end zone. The catch was amazing, but no receiver makes that catch at game speed more than five times in 100. Losing based on that play would be pretty tough.

How about being a victim of him not doing jack when I started him and then having him blow up during my first round bye? It was great watching 41 points go to waste. Now I have no choice but to start him in the playoffs this week. How much do you want to bet he tanks?
