dumb fans, dumb coaches, dumb players..Jits smack down inevitable
I would say the Packers might. That's about it. BB has the team focused, as always. They may not always be the best at quotes but they stay on point and on task. Makes them a very dangerous team at all times.By the way wasn't Brady out there saying how much he hated the Jets when asked about Hard Knocks. I hate them, I'd never watch that show? Wasn't that it?I mean, Cro is dumber but I remember a thread much like this and thought it was just as silly to get on his case about that. They're SUPPOSED to hate each other.Adebisi said:No team in the NFL would be handling this situation with more class than the Patriots have. No, seriously. Name one.
No one should give a crap what a player on either team says and I doubt it has any impact on the game. Seriously, like at this stage of the game, players need smack motivation?Jets fans, I laugh at all of them! They would be poppin off if anyone on the Pats was acting as childish as the players and coaches in NY.Thanks,Clearly a Jets fan.Good luck.Oooooohhhhhh, the Pats are going to try SUPER HARD now.Dumb.
NE doesn't need another advantage.
The Jets could have had a potential edge in that in the last meeting NE crushed them. Maybe they'd come in a little overconfident of flat.
Not after all the Jets bigmouths this week.
If history is any guide, this wont bode well for the NYJ.
Reminds me of the chatter prior to Steeler matchups.

I gotta call BS on this one. Brady jaws all the time. Farve pumped his fists and jumped on his WRs like a kid in the playground. Brady often shows an altogether different "celebration" that runs completely counter to the Mr. Cool rep that the league wants to blindly keep on him. The Anthony Smith incident you referred to involved Brady essentially running a good 20yrds up to Smith's face and getting into it after a TD (taunting?? - nooo). Look back to the Steelers game this year alone and watch him throw the ball at the Steeler fans and scream at them. (then again, maybe he just has something against the Steelers). The guy is a great QB but he is emotional. Heck, he even said it so himself during an interview this week. Montana, Unitas, Manning ... Brady doesn't have that kind of cool.tombonneau said:I read the same thing you'reSonny Lubick Blowup Doll said:"Most", huh? Who's most, exactly? Revis and "etc."?Most of the other Jets (Revis, etc...) said they haven't noticed any trash-talking or taunting from Brady. Are you trying to say Cromartie made it up or something?
ing. Think the quotes were Revis, Taylor and someone else, but they basically said they noticed nothing out of the ordinary from Brady. Only Cro, Rex and maybe another Jet were complaining about Brady's on field "antics." I've watched pretty much every one of Brady's games, and the only time I've seen him get all up in someone's face is after throwing a TD vs Pitt in 2007 he jawed with Anthony Smith. (He also got in some guy's face once who he felt threw a late hit on a WR, might have been Pitt too, but that's a different scenario.)Otherwise you just see him pumping his fist or whatever. Typical Favre stuff. Maybe there is more going on the cameras don't catch, but can't imagine CBS/FOX/ESPN would miss a chance to show a slow-mo of Brady sticking it to the other team on the sideline.
Don't compare Brady to QB's 20 to 50 years before him, of course they didn't act like that, NOBODY did. You didn't have corners or anyone poppin off and the finger pointing and everyone running to press conferences. The game is 100% different now, sure Manning is emotionless, maybe if he did act a little more like Brady he wouldn't be 1 and done so often. Out of curiosity, how many rings does Cromartie have? Exactly, but hey he has as many kids as Brady threw TD's this year, so he has that going for him. I hope Brady torches them yet again and then does the "lights out" dance for old times sake.I gotta call BS on this one. Brady jaws all the time. I guess at this point it's semantics. You say he "jaws" all the time. To me that implies getting in someone's face. I can only recall the Anthony Smith incident and nothing else. Not saying it hasn't happened here and there but as someone who has watched all his games that is what stands out. He is an emotional player and I have no problem with that.Again, if he was pointing at the Jets in the last game - so much so that according to Rex it should have been penalized - I'd have to think ESPN would have those clips on a continuous loops. As Brady just said in an interview, there are 50,000 cameras out there, someone would have caught something. Instead I believe Cro and Rex are probably just misremembering events. (On a side note, read The Invisible Gorilla for a fascinating insight how flawed human perception and memory are.)I gotta call BS on this one. Brady jaws all the time. This, really is QFTMFT. Don't like a team taking pictutes post game at the 50? win the game. Don't like someone celebrating in your end zone? Stop them. Don't like someone pointing at your sideline? Do something on the field.Ultimately again, I think there's more to Ryan's comments at least but in the end, you want to stop getting taunted? Put them in a position where they can't.Like Brady said - We'll see on Sunday. If you don't like the other team pointing or gloating, then either stop them from scoring or hit them hard on the field. After the last beatdown, the last thing I want to hear is them trash talking.
I really don't get it... I don't see jets fans "poppin" off at all. Here or anywhere....To a man, I'd say 98% of jets fans cringe if there is a microphone or a ball thrown Cromarties' way....It's as if people set up in their minds what they think certain fans are like... Every Jets fan I know is among the most humble fan in all of sports, we've been beaten down for 40 years.....Rex talks, I get it..... That's how he motivates his team... Fine, But, i don't change My expectations as an NFL observer on what the team will or could do.... I "Get" Rex.. He's already the HC with the most playoff wins in Jets history and again, all that matters to me is that he Knows FOOTBALL....I'll take Rex's Football acumen + Smack talk over Herm Edwards complete lack of knowledge + Clown act any day.... Would I rather Cromartie Shuts his trap - Hell yeah.... Do I think it matters on the game? Not really....dumb fans, dumb coaches, dumb players..Jits smack down inevitableBefore this and the other whiny WHY ARE THE JETS SO LOUD AND BOASTY threads I really wanted this team to lose. Now I want it to win more than ever. They've been in the playoffs both years Ryan coached. Be nice if my team did that ONCE. Ryan's a loudmouth but good lord he's got nothing on some of you guys who AREN'T EVEN PATS FANS. Just loud complainers. These threads are hysterical. THANKS FOR MAKING MY NIGHT ENTERTAINING.

Like Brady said - We'll see on Sunday.
You're insane. Every Jets fan I know has become intolerable since last year. I went from not having any feelings about the Jets or the fans at all to absolutely hating them in two years. It's as if people set up in their minds what they think certain fans are like... Every Jets fan I know is among the most humble fan in all of sports, we've been beaten down for 40 years.....
Hmmm, every Jets fan I know is also 37 yo+..... I probably can't speak for some young cocky kid who has been a fan during the past decade and has never lived the full depths of Jet fandom and I certainly can't speak for the Jersey Shore / Staten Island typesYou're insane. Yeah I'm with Reaper here. Nothing like that in my experience. But that doesn't mean you're not running into bandwagon jackwagons. That might be it. Every time a team gets good, they hop on board and when the teams struggle, they break their ankles jumping off.Hmmm, every Jets fan I know is also 37 yo+..... Lets just say, other than my close circle, I certainly don't see it HERE AT FBG.
Jets fans remind me of Chargers fans during the 2000s. Greatest team on paper to never win a damn thing. When you win, you can talk.shadyridr said:You're insane. I'm good friends with two die hard Jets fans, one my age (early 30s) the other I think around the same age, and they haven't changed much in their attitude. They both basically have the attitude of they are playing with house money, and Rex can do or say what he wants because he's brought them the best two back-to-back years in franchise history regardless. Neither of them really like his antics, but they tolerate it due to the success. It's also worth noting that as true Jets fans, after the 45-3 beatdown they were back to the Same Old Jets mode.Reaper said:Hmmm, every Jets fan I know is also 37 yo+..... Precisely. The Jets haven't done anything yet to warrant all this garbage talking that they do.Win a superbowl and then you can talk. Until then, shut your hole.I'm gonna laugh when The 3 time Superbowl Champ, NFL MVP, Superbowl MVP, the guy who threw more TDs in any season torches this moron and goes and points his finger to a guy whos been torched all year. What stupid idiotic moron does not know the name of his kids? Sorry, I am sick and tired of the Jets, Cromartie, Rex Ryan, and all the smack talk when they do absolutly nothing year in and year out...what have they won? what have the Pats won?
Dungy-era Colts. But today? Not sure anyone else would. No team in the NFL would be handling this situation with more class than the Patriots have. No, seriously. Name one.
The talk comes from not winning anything. If they ever won one, I don't think they'd talk as much.Precisely. The Pats have earned respect around the league for their dominance over the last 10 years.
Right now, the Jets have no respect.
You shouldn't blame a team for its fans. Many NO fans turned the lame up to 11 once their team beat the Vikings. But they calmed back down this year. It's understandable when a perennial loser becomes the best in the league, but still you can't blame the team for its fans. As the Jets start succeeding you can't blame them for their fans. Now, the coaches and players? Yeah. Blame away.shadyridr said:You're insane. You would have thought that the Jets would have stopped talking trash after Miami dropped a 30-9 beatdown on them in the Meadowlands. But that's just not how Rex Ryan's group rolls.
Following the game, Jets cornerback Antonio Cromarie called pregame target Reggie Bush a "punk."
"At the end of the day, we know his true colors," Cromartie said via the New York Daily News. Bush was held to 65 yards from scrimmage and lost a fumble while the Dolphins split carries between him and Daniel Thomas. But Bush
had the best response possible after the game on Twitter.
"Great team win! Dominated in all phases today! Enough said!" Bush wrote.
