Any Leagues Play for Title Before Wk 16? (1 Viewer)

Just curious if any leagues try to wrap things up a bit sooner and play their championship game before week 16. If so, which week and why? And do you like ending before week 16?

1 league plays week 15 due to scheduling to make all 12 teams play everyone 1 time and each division mate 2 times. Then when you combine only 4 playoffs teams you only need 2 weeks and your done in week 15.

I saw one league that uses weeks 1-3 as playoffs - they set lineups every week, then play regular season from weeks 4-16 to determine playoff seeding. First round in Week 3, Semis in Week 2, Championship in Week 1. Would make the end game very interesting as you would have a real reason to throw Week 16 if you knew that it would get you a team that stunk in Week 3. Would love to try it in a low cost league to see what it was like, but the guy with the worst Week 1 score would have nothing to play for from the jump...

Yeah, this is kind of silly, since it would take away a lot of the incentive for the rest of the season. Though I do like the idea of using different weeks than the final ones of the season, since it is just as random.Maybe it should be 3 weeks randomly determined at the end of the season.
