Best Stallone movie after Rocky (1 Viewer)

I thought it was cool as a kid but yeah, it's pretty bad.Rocky's ridiculous speech at the end of this is :facepalm: So unfortunate. It almost ruins the entire movie.

Was nominated for both writing and acting at the 1976 Oscars. He lost both but Rocky took home the awards for Best Editing, Directing, and Best Picture.

I thinking writing Rocky is when his career took off. If I remember correctly, he was only making the movie if he played Rocky. It's kind of cool that he created the character. Who better to play it than a New Yorker who created it.

He was so poor that he was forced to sell his dog that he loved. Within a couple of days he managed to sell the movie and went and bought back his dog for like 10 times what he sold it for.

Stallone had his first starring role in the soft core pornography feature film The Party at Kitty and Stud's (1970). He was paid $200 for two days' work.[17] Stallone later explained that he had done the film out of desperation after being evicted from his apartment and finding himself homeless for several days. He has also said that he slept three weeks in the New York City Port Authority bus station prior to seeing a casting notice for the film. In the actor's words, "it was either do that movie or rob someone, because I was at the end the very end of my rope".[18] The film was released several years later as Italian Stallion, in order to cash in on Stallone's newfound fame (the new title was taken from Stallone's nickname since Rocky and a line from the film).

He played a character called "Rocky" in a TV show (Police Story) a year before Rocky came out.
