With Crennel on the hot seat in all likelihood, I thought I'd post this before today's game.
An excerpt from Tony Grossi's book "Tales from the Browns Sidelines"
When the Browns went on hiatus following the 1995 season, Cowher was presented with a chair from old Cleveland Municipal Stadium and a bronzed hook from the relic's ancient locker room to commemorate his time (as a coach and player) in Cleveland.
"I guess I look at Cleveland as a place that will always be a part of my life", Cowher said. "Every time I think of Cleveland, I think of Doug Dieken, Robert Jackson, and the Kardiac Kids of 1980."
"I remember whenever we went to Pittsburgh as a player, Clay Matthews and **** Ambrose would always want to come to my house and have my mom make dinner so they could keep their meal money. These guys were happy to get a free meal."
