seems like they’ve been calling that more this year.Feels like a ticky tack facemask call
It's actually more like one series for Gordon, one for Javonte, Javonte starts the next, they pull him at the fifty. That's how the sequence went. They're clearly splitting time painstakingly evenly tonight.IMO Gordon absolutely is 1A in this backfield. He enters in the middle of the series and I have not seen this from Javonte.
I disagree. 3rd and 1 this last "Javonte" series and Gordon comes in and...stays in so far. It's actually more like one series for Gordon, one for Javonte, Javonte starts the next, they pull him at the fifty. That's how the sequence went. They're clearly splitting time painstakingly evenly tonight.
There's a lot to like about Williams, but the idea that he's outplayed Gordon is false. They've been pretty equivalent and given that they SHOULD be splitting it nearly evenIt's actually more like one series for Gordon, one for Javonte, Javonte starts, they pull him at the fifty. Jeremy Fowler@JFowlerESPNUgh. Von Miller knee.
Javonte had the previous series though (was 3 and out....which perhaps explains why he got the first few snaps of this one?)I disagree. 3 and 1 this last "Javonte" series with and Gordon comes in and...stays in so far.
Yeah, I'm not really arguing one way or the other. It seems that Williams is more dynamic, and it's showing up in YPC. That said, Gordon brings veteran skills and probably a little more pass-catching ability to the table. There's a lot to like about Williams, but the idea that he's outplayed Gordon is false. That's what I was trying to convey. Yes, that's what happened.
As Lou Reed would say, "I wanna play football for the Coach"Ok, yes that's true but why not let Javonte get in any kind of rhythm since he started this drive?
It's like someone counts snaps and they rotate regardless of flow or situationOk, yes that's true but why not let Javonte get in any kind of rhythm since he started this drive?
Williams back in.It's like someone counts snaps and they rotate regardless of flow or situation
Yeah, I'd say definitely. If you win it, you put all the pressure on them.he was short but is it worth a challenge?
Absolutely it is. Denver may kick a FG since they need 2 scores. If they go and don't get it, the game is probably over.he was short but is it worth a challenge?
No chance they get down this close again. Go for it.Absolutely it is. Denver may kick a FG since they need 2 scores. If they go and don't get it, the game is probably over.
This is what I was thinking about halfway through the last drive. They really wanna roll Bridgewater out and have everybody running routes to that side of the field. The Broncos appear to have installed one and only one passing play.
actually thought that was 2nd down play. IN which case I dont think it would be worth it. 3rd down play changes thatYeah, I'd say definitely. If you win it, you put all the pressure on them.
It was working. This is what I was thinking about halfway through the last drive. They really wanna roll Bridgewater out and have everybody running routes to that side of the field.
You and the rest of Broncos CountryI just don’t get why Denver decides to run this open offense starting in the fourth quarter And the rest of the game it is so conservative.
there ya goLet's see if we can't get a fantasy day here with a Williams touchdown.
That'd be sweet.
Thanks for the support.there ya go
