The Dallas Cowboys signed QB Brad Johnson to be a veteran presence at QB and help Tony Romo become a better player. However, even at 39-years old, Johnson has more in the gas tank. He believes he can still help a team win but acknowledged that Tony Romo is the starting QB and deservedly so. HC Wade Phillips is happy to have Johnson on the squad. "Johnson's not going to make mistakes. Not going to make dumb mistakes or young-player mistakes," Phillips said. "He can make the right decision most of the time. That's why we have confidence in him."

A: No, the injury list that you have, Burress has not practiced and that will be the same. James Butler has an ankle and a hamstring. So he won’t practice. Derrick Ward came out of the game actually more nicked that he has been in previous weeks. So he may not practice either. So today you won’t see any of those guys. Steve Smith should be advanced.
