Breaking Bad on AMC (1 Viewer)

Man I still can't get the last show out of my head. Ever since becoming a father any time a movie/show has something happen to a child it crushes me. When Jessie's girl's kid was poisoned and then pulled through it I was like 'whew, at least they aren't crossing the line of having kids die'. Then this past show they destroyed the line. They have truly broken bad all the way. Powerful stuff.
We don't know for sure that the kid is dead. Could make for a really intense episode this week if he isn't.
I thought it showed on the previews them burying him
I have terrible gas today.
Have you tried Beano?

Doesn't work.

I just watched the entire series in about 2 weeks. Glad I watched it, knew almost nothing about it going in. Highly entertaining but don't listen to all the fanboy talk and set expectations too high. Sometimes people on this board get so hyped about movie/series they can see no wrong with it so don't listen to that and expect perfection but expect some very good entertainment. I would definately recommend watching it.

I think having to wait a week between episodes and getting to participate in the water-cooler talk definitely changes the viewing experience of any show, including this one.

Probably just stirring the pot....but It would be best if you tread lightly.....

(CNN) -- More "Breaking Bad" yo?
The series star Bryan Cranston seemed to drop a major hint in an interview with CNN's Ashleigh Banfield Thursday. Asked by Banfield if his character, Walter White, died or not, Cranston said, "Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything. Or say ... you know." He left the rest up to viewers' imaginations.

In response to questions about whether the character could show up in a movie or anywhere else ever again, Cranston said: "Never say never."
Whoa.

He may have been teasing, but that remark revived hopes for countless fans who still are mourning the loss of the character and the acclaimed series. The show literally went out with a bang in September 2013 and there was even a mock funeral held for the character in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the series was set and filmed.
Cranston has remained busy since the series ended, most recently starring in the summer film "Godzilla." And AMC has announced that "Breaking Bad" fans can look forward to a new series, "Better Call Saul," which will bea spinoff featuring criminal lawyer Saul Goodman.

Say it did come back ,like 24 just did, what direction would it go? Any opinions on what they could do with the show?

Yep, the FFA is the only place where you can find Breaking Bad receiving acclaim.

I think you could do a Br Ba movie showing how Walter White was able to "retire' from the business, taking place between parts 1 and 2....

Would still like an explanation for this on page 3, GB:

There will be a character named Gus introduced down the road. He is a drug kingpin. He will eventually work with Walt, but then Walt will feel threatened by him. Walt will find a way to kill Gus. I believe it will be done using a old man who communicates by ringing a bell. Walt will likely rig the old man's wheelchair to explode while Gus is in close proximity.
30 months before "Face Off" aired.

MY GOD, HOW COULD HE HAVE KNOWN!?!?!?!

Edit--this is really freaking me out.

I think it was just a really lucky guess.

The odd thing about that is that RN referred to Tio that way, as if we hadn't seen that character yet either, when in fact Tio was first seen in an episode on 3-15-09 (when "Grilled" first aired). RN is probably a cheeky fella who went in and edited his post years later and for some reason it didn't show the "edited at" thing at the bottom (which it doesn't always do).

Too bad that's the only prediction RN has ever gotten right :boxing:

It always shows, unless a mod did it.

Here is the real story: a while back, we were all sticking our chests out about predictions which came true. So I went back and edited an old post with what you see above, then I linked to it. And then, some kind of Twilight Zone/perfect-storm thing happened. I think it was around the time when we got the current board style. The "post edited by Raider Nation" suddenly disappeared. I wish it were a better story.

I don't believe it, I think this is a cover-up story, intended to protect your Deep Throat source.

Just watched this beginning to end for the first time over the last month, and just finished the series finale.

One of, if not the best, shows I've ever watched. Pure awesome all 5 seasons.

Walter White - Thought he was just a boss first 3 to 3.5 seasons. Pure evil down the stretch, but he played the role to an 11/10 level, just an amazing performance. All characters were great in their respective roles, and being on demand I would have stretches where I literally could not pull myself off of the couch. Points where I found myself laughing at the bad-azzness of WW, my favorite being "Ken Wins!"

Can't wait to digest all 335 pages of this thread  , but I will skim as I could see that sort of volume for a show this good.

Took a tour of Cigar City Brewery in Tampa Friday, and the tour guide was Bob Odenkirk's doppleganger...seriously. Looks exactly like Odenkirk in Fargo, and sounds exactly like him, too (minus the Minnesota accent). After the tour I asked if anyone ever told him he reminds them of Bob/Saul, and he said only one other person has. He has no idea who Odenkirk is.

I took a short video for the FFA. Its kind of hard to see his face really good, but I think you can tell hes a dead ringer, although he has a bit more hair than Bob.

Sorry, we're not hiring. But send me your CV and some full body pics of your GF (or wife) and I'll put them on file for when anything opens up.

That guy really doesn't evoke Odenkirk to me in any way.

Netflix is the best way IMO - do you have Amazon prime?
