yeah, his reaction looks bad.
Being carted off is pretty much routine for anything bigger than a mild sprain, but that that was the classic "choking" sign for serious knee injuries.
Sucks. I don't own Benjamin in any league, but I definitely like him as a player and he surprised me last year. I thought he would be a total bust, but even as a rookie he was looking like he has the makings to be a near stud, or even a stud.
Hopefully he just sprained it bad and was freaked out by it initially.

I agree, Cams value was in question already. Without Benjamin I am not sure how far to slide him down but it will be a lot.

Just saying, there is zero reason for hope from him holding his leg above his knee, and I can't even believe this conversation got to be multiple posts.

Any ideas on how long it might take for a quality update on the extent of the injury to be released? For instance, would they send him for an MRI today?

It's really not an issue. I created a preseason injury thread. I rarely go in the player threads as they are just links from Faust saying "Benjamin looks good at practice catches TD"

Likely an MRI today since it's still early.
McCoy waiting for his MRI the next day.
Normally they wait a day for swelling to go down but if he has one today it's likely more serious.

I would imagine we will know sometime this afternoon, he is probably getting the MRI right now and the results are pretty immediate so just a little time for them to leak.

Definitely going to get an MRI today. The team doesn't have to tell the media the truth about injuries in preseason though. However, if he 100% done for the year, they would likely say. Nothing to hide at that point.
