Okay, anyone who was watching College football at the time knows what a force Cedric Benson was. Anyone in this forum knows what a choke he has been. So he ha sa good game against Oakland. Not as good as Ron Dayne did... I mean friggin Ron Dayne, most would've speculated at the start of the season that Ron Dayne couldn't match Bensons numbers in one game. Yet, we are all aware of the Ill fate to those of us that drafted Benson.

Now, we have two good games in a row, a 43 yard TD.... is it time... does Benson become a viable fantasy option? For those of us that held onto benson because we have burnt orange colored blood (God help us!!!) I Hope SO! Lets not bash benson in this thread, just decide if his season has hope or not.

WORST FF MOVE I MADE THIS YEAR: drafting Benson
BEST FF MOVE I MADE THIS YEAR: trading him for Holt after Week 2For those of you who have stuck with him for 11 weeks, good luck.

idk. i watched the highlights of the seahawks game on demand just to see the 43-yard tD run. he actually cut back to his right and ran through a couple of defenders (with some speed). in the past, he'd have been stopped for 2 yards because he wouldn't have made the cut.

i hope i'm wrong, but i'm kind of sorry i traded him.

He has been running angry for the past couple of weeks, not sure if it has any bearing on his performance. As a Bears fan, if there is one thing you can count on, it's winning meaningless games that screw up draft position. Somebody has to produce, and I think Cedric will(at a solid #2 RB level)...

The part highlighted in red could not be more true. The part in blue....not so much.

This week should be pretty decent for him as he has the Broncos who have sported a hapless rushing defense most of the year, so I would play him with confidence. After that though, there will be some tough sledding against the giants, redskins, vikings, and packers. I would get what you can for him now or after this week if trade deadline is not passed.

I honestly expected much more out of him against the raiders, and expected a good bit less against the seahawks (although without the long TD, it was a pretty pedestrian day). Chances are, though, that if you drafted him and haven't traded him that you have little choice but to play him. So... best of luck to you.
