In hindsight i would have separated the drafts, with the rookie draft random after the vet draft, or based on votes (reverse order of expected finish year one). But I've certainly taken my fair share of rookies.Honeslty to me the rookies have ruined this exercise . It becomes a crutch & is kind of lazy. But thats just meOn a side note I realize I have selected 5 rookie linebackers between my two teams. I guess I just feel that there aren't that many exceptional linebackers in the league (probably because it's a passing league now) and I'd rather gamble on their athleticism rather than taking an established vet early. I think this could really pay off for me if these guys (all of whom should be 1st or 2nd rounders) all start for their real teams.
I wish we had separate drafts. I believe I was for that before we started. Integrating the two though has led to some interesting strategy decisions though.
