And also if anyone strongly disagrees with any of these picks (except for Cardinals obv), then please speak up and give a reasoning. I just looked over what holes they had in their starting line up and filled them with the top player from my list in that position. I put no thought into strategy or schemes.

I'm sorry guys. It got away from. I didn't realize how busy I'd get. Thank you to whoever drafted for me. I really like the Barnes pick.

First-Come, First-Served Drafting has begun with round 30 only today

30.12 Cincinnati Bengals select Zach Dysert, QB

Big Ben pt. 2? Let's hope so but he probably won't play much behind Matt Ryan.

30.14 Oakland Raiders select Johnny Hekker, P

Need a punter!

30.22 Cleveland Browns select Brandon Boykin, CB

Finally get a nickel corner and a pretty good one at that.

Pick explanations:

Langford is still available because he had a down year in 2012. However from 2008-2011 he was a very consistent player and a good generator of pressure. Langford is good insurance if Floyd's game doesn't transition to the NFL as well as I am expecting.

McCarthy had said House might have been the best CB during training camp in 2012 but an injury prevented House from playing up to his potential during the season. I'm hoping House is healthy now. With the raw talent I have at CB and with a Rodgers-led offense, my Dime package could be seeing a lot of time on the field.

I will continue to pick for the Eagles and Panthers until Skeletore checks in.

Round 30:

Cardinals select Chris Kluwe, P - I had him in my top 5 punters so I'm happy to get him after the rush

Eagles select Nate Potter, T - can't really go wrong with O-line depth

Panthers select Keenan Robinson, MLB - London Fletcher is his current starter which will likely only be a one year rental

Round 30 -

Giants select - QB Landry Jones

with Luck on tow for many years it will be a luxury to let Jones develop and see if he does have the talent to be an NFL starter.

Round 30 picks:

Broncos: T.J. Yates, QB - works as a real life backup, how bout here too?

Rams: Will Hill, DB - one of the Adderall boys. Quality ST plays week in and week out, could backup at S if needed.

So the way this is setup it pretty much kills the thread after the mad dash is over.

I enjoyed checking in and keeping the tabs on the picks.

Also, with the 10am start it ensures my teams picking in the bottom 10 of every round .....

Really sucks since I was very active in my selections .

I agree with all of this. It was kind of nice to come back to this thread after a few hours and check the updates. I also am ensured to be picking at the bottom of each round, and I think we let the absence of Skeletore and Nucker get to us too quickly in deciding to jump ship on the snake.

That being said, I don't think it would be a good idea to restart the snake draft and I don't have any better ideas.

Ok, I know this will be extremely hard for some of you to believe, but I had to share. I have fully entered the rosters into Madden up to the current round. Yes, they are not 100% complete, but the basic makeup of each team is. So I decided to do a quick one year sim just to see what happens...and the SB Champions were THE CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!! Yes, the Joe Flacco led Bears. They defeated the Jaguars. Overall best record was the Rams followed by the Raiders.

I can't embed photos for some reason but heres a link of the news center where it says they won.

Once the draft is done, I will do a complete five year sim and post results each year.

Bears - 84

Rams - 81

Raiders - 87

Jags - 82

3 Teams had the highest: Vikings, Saints, Raiders at 87

3 Teams had the lowest: Browns, Jets, Panthers at 80

You also have to remember that as of now the majority of backups are in the 50s. So that plays a big part. Once I put the real drafted backups in the ratings will change.

NB- curious, how difficult would it be to run multiple simulations? if a team wins repeatedly that means more to me than a one time event.

Not difficult at all. Once I have the rosters in, I can sim seasons a million times. Its just a matter of going in and starting one and advancing each week.

How did you change the schemes to fit what the current coaches are drafting for? With this year's madden, it makes a HUGE difference on what the players are rated.

So my 49ers defense is probably rated like crap, as it is showing stats based on a 3-4 defense, while i drafted here for a 4-3. That is the one thing that I think will not give us decent results, unfortunately...

for those who have not played it and experienced it, it lists Jabal Sheard as a 64 overall DE in the stock rosters, as Cleveland is set up for a 3-4, and he is a 4-3 end, for example. It REALLY makes a difference. It changes the rating of the player based on how well they fit that coach's scheme. So basically the teams that are listed the best probably drafted well to fit their team scheme in real life.

I would almost think it would be better to go back and do it with Madden 12 instead of 13, but it would be a LOT of roster and player editing to get that done.

One team made the SuperBowl, the other had the highest rating.

Cool but I think its apples Vs oranges for our draft.

Yeah both of my teams are running different schemes both offensively and defensively than their real-life counterparts, and I have a lot of rookies which I have no idea how you could have rated accurately. Also depending on what starting rosters you used the young vets I drafted may not be that good, for example Demaryius Thomas and Spiller may have pretty low ratings.

The Madden thing is cool but I don't think it's accurate at all.
