I remember back in 1990, in our small construction office, the question was do we spend all this money on an rolled onion-paper style fax machine when we don't really see how it will change our communications any.Good point I forgot about social media was the thing. I’m in insurance so about 8 - 10 years ago it was all about how will this help us adapt to self driving cars15 years ago it was "use social media".we had a corporate email go out celebrating the interns that won a contest to bring the most innovative idea to the table.. out of like 500 people or somethingThe people in meetings that keep asking “did you consider adding AI” any time a new site or app at my company is launched or enhanced.

When I hear fax machine I think of Die Hard, “Just the fax” and a few donkeys here sending unsolicited faxes to each other at your work some 15-20 years ago.
