My issue with clothing sizes is the non-uniformity of it all. There should be a metric system for all sizes. So an XL would always be a certain, fixed size across all brands.

When people ask me my shirt size I always shrug my shoulders because it is so heavily dependent on brand. I have shirts that are L and I have shirts that are XXL that all fit me the same way. So annoying.

I think moving clocks forward and backward every year is ridiculous. If it was up to me, we'd go year round on DST...

But that's not the REAL crime here. Why on earth do the US and UK not change the clocks at the same time? I'm working for a company that has employees in both locations, and every just had their calendars trashed by any recurring meetings owned by someone on the other continent moving, while meetings owned by someone on the same continent stayed at the same time.

This might be worth going to war over.

The one that gets me at least once a week if not more is on Outlook. I use the flag/reminder function for emails. I flag an email, set up a "custom" reminder, which brings up a little pop-up window where you can select the day and time you want to be reminded of said email. It ends up being my to-do list, in effect.

Well, the little drop-down selector thing for the time you want to be alerted of the email ends up covering up the "Cancel" button. So, if you slip just a little bit and instead of hitting 11:00am, for instance, and hit the "Cancel" button, it kicks you out of the functionality completely and you have to start over.

It only results in maybe 5-10 seconds' worth of a re-do, but it's just annoying. You'd think MS' developers would notice that and re-imagine the functionality.

Yeah, that always dawns on me right after I hit the button. At least I usually don't use bags and it's after I've already typed in a '0', so it doesn't make a difference. Like I said... I'm all about efficiency. Why hit one button when you can hit two?

Sometimes I will come out wearing a shirt that my wife says fits perfect. She will ask me the size and I say Medium. Other times she will say my shirt looks too big on me and ask the size. Of course I will say, Medium. WHY ?
