Hilarious. So much love and he can't even dress.
He's had a hammy injury. Let's see what happens when he gets a chance. This is all about 2015 anyway...
He was a full participant in practice on Friday and was not listed on the pre-game injury report. He was a healthy scratch. He's had a hammy injury. Let's see what happens when he gets a chance. This is all about 2015 anyway...
55 pages on 18 career rushes, he is averaging three pages per carry.
Michael still has a long way to go before he reaches the David Wilson threshold, which was almost a page per carry.55 pages on 18 career rushes, he is averaging three pages per carry.![]()
I think you got that backwards.Michael still has a long way to go before he reaches the David Wilson threshold, which was almost a page per carry.55 pages on 18 career rushes, he is averaging three pages per carry.![]()
You are correct, working on minimal sleep!I just remembered being in awe that the David Wilson thread was over 110 pages, and that he didn't have too many more career carries then that.jurb26 said:I think you got that backwards.Faust said:Michael still has a long way to go before he reaches the David Wilson threshold, which was almost a page per carry.jurb26 said:mnmplayer said:55 pages on 18 career rushes, he is averaging three pages per carry.![]()
So is the ridiculous hype about how great Michael has been from you. I toss it into the same bucket as Dyer and Jstew...EBF said:Gandalf said:He's had a hammy injury. Let's see what happens when he gets a chance. This is all about 2015 anyway...![]()
I don't think many C-Mike optimists expect him to be useful until Lynch is gone. The usage pattern so far this year has mirrored what Seattle did last year, so I don't know why the skeptics think the optimists are all of a sudden going to panic and change their tune (nevermind the fact that he's been injured). It's all about holding for the payoff when Marshawn is gone. It always has been. This noise is much ado about nothing.
This is the Leroy Hoard of threads...... If you need 1 page per carry, I will give you three. If you need 4 pages per carry, i will give you three.mnmplayer said:55 pages on 18 career rushes, he is averaging three pages per carry.
Problem is when Lynch is gone he will still be a backup. At least he will be a rb2 and probably not be a healthy scratch. He's had a hammy injury. Let's see what happens when he gets a chance. This is all about 2015 anyway...![]()

What you paid should have nothing to do with the decision. If he is a depreciating asset you dump him and get something back.As was already stated multiple times throughout this thread. If you bought him in a dynasty league (especially deeper ones), you have no choice but to hold since you will get no where near the value you paid for him in return. But if you were to drop him, he'd be scooped up for pennies. That is the only time he will be of value, since if he hits, you paid little for him. If he doesn't hit, you drop him with little to no pain.

I always wonder if people actually believe this line of "logic" or if they are like those yahoo financial message board guys who think their one comment is going to drive the price down on something they want to buy.https://warosu.org/data/tg/img/0293/40/1389111215616.gifProblem is when Lynch is gone he will still be a backup
How is the logic any worse than those who assume he's going to step right in and be a bell cow monster? The reality is that no one, including the Seattle staff IMO, knows what is going to happen if/when Lynch is out.biju said:I always wonder if people actually believe this line of "logic" or if they are like those yahoo financial message board guys who think their one comment is going to drive the price down on something they want to buy.EBF said:https://warosu.org/data/tg/img/0293/40/1389111215616.gifProblem is when Lynch is gone he will still be a backup
Only if lynch gets injured.Nice article: Seattle running back Christine Michael waiting for his chance, Oct 5
Anybody have new thoughts on his situation? Will he see time at some point this season? There are not a lot of juicy match-ups late in the season for the Seattle offense and I see that division being a dog-fight till the end so there won't be any coasting in my opinion. If Lynch is healthy, he will play. And play a lot. Does Michael even sniff at the chance to contribute in a way that is beneficial to fantasy owners in 2014 or is he strictly a dynasty hold?
Now you've done it.Look, he's obviously got some serious deficiencies to his game. If he was this super stud all star that many made him out to be, he'd have done something. Something just doesn't fit.
They're saving him for next year.Look, he's obviously got some serious deficiencies to his game. If he was this super stud all star that many made him out to be, he'd have done something. Something just doesn't fit.
As a Seahawks fan...I agree. Something doesn't add up and there must be something really missing from his game. I thought he would get an opportunity to at least be part of the active roster last week, so seeing him be inactive was bizarre. So you're probably right--congrats.Look, he's obviously got some serious deficiencies to his game. If he was this super stud all star that many made him out to be, he'd have done something. Exactly. I'm continuing to do the same thing with J Stewart. One of these days......my patience will pay off. You're the champs and everything you touch is turning to gold right now. Why mess with it?
The Seahawks are so luck/good with personnel right now, for all we know, they are pimping Turbin so they can get something out of HIM and then bring Michael (the true future) up to rock it out.
We really have no idea but it is safe to say that the WORST case scenario is that Michael finds himself the odd man out and if that happens, he is either traded to another team (instant fantasy boost based on perception) or he is off the team and finds his way onto another (still, somewhat of a boost).
All in all, the key phrase with this guy is "be patient."
Good process doesn't always equal good results. Unless you have a crystal ball, good process still generates bad outcomes.Exactly. I'm continuing to do the same thing with J Stewart. Turbin is a better blocker and adequate on the three carries he gets a game. Not that complicated to me.Look, he's obviously got some serious deficiencies to his game. If he was this super stud all star that many made him out to be, he'd have done something. Something just doesn't fit.
Sure. But you also need to take an honest assessment of whether or not your process was good, regardless of the outcome.Good process doesn't always equal good results. THANKS BUMPMAN!Pete Carroll wants to get rid of the rule that requires teams to designate inactive players.

Yep, without a doubt. With Harvin gone and his salary, odds go up significantly that Lynch stays next year.
Or, odds go up that they restructure Wilson while they can and have the cap space. I'm not sold this means much of anything for the RBs.Yep, without a doubt. With Harvin gone and his salary, odds go up significantly that Lynch stays next year.

Yep, bad news for Michael. I really doubt Lynch gets cut now.I agee with tdmills, Lynch's contract runs through next year, and there is now more $$$ available to pay that contract or restructure. The odds of another year of Michael irrelevance on my dynasty bench have increased. At least I have P. Richardson whose dynasty odds of relevance just went up.
I think it does little for their RB position. I don't see them investing heavily into it, Lynch or otherwise.Odds go up was my phrase.
