Well, not really for me. If Rawls turns out to be a good player then that makes Seattle's dumping of Michael a bit more understandable. It's better to be made expendable by a good player than by a terrible player.

Anyway, that's ancient history now. Looks like Michael owners will have to wait for an injury or hope that Randle/DMC will falter in the coming weeks. We haven't seen him now after three weeks and it's looking like the wait will be indefinite.

The Cowboys didn't necessarily waste a pick on him. They traded a "conditional" 7th round pick for him. The condition is that Michael would have to play 3 games for the Cowboys for Seattle to actually get the pick. Basically speaking--if Michael plays two games or less for Dallas--the Cowboys don't give up the pick. This might cap his upside a bit--as if the running game of Dallas looks solid without him in the mix--there is no real motivation for the Cowboys to get him in games. At this point--he's probably looking like more of an insurance policy against injury for the Cowboys more than anything else.

He couldn't make an impression there (despite the hype) and is now a free agent. Can you guess who he is? Christine owners are like those owners, slow to reality. 22 - 82 (3.7) on the year with a long run of 10 yards is playing well now? I've watched the Cowboys some this year, and McFadden clearly hasn't been doing anything more than getting what's blocked.

I own both Randle and CMike and was a bit relieved to see Randle beast at the outset of the game, even with him on my bench, because I could then feel free to drop CMike this week. I'm still having trouble pulling the trigger on that though. This was the first time I've seen Randle in full action and he just doesn't pass the eye test in my opinion. Looks stiff, not elusive, if a gaping hole is there he'll run right through it but otherwise he lacks that extreme shiftiness that other top RB have to offer.

I'm not saying that CM will see the field -- I think he should but I realize that esp with Jerry Jones the most logical results don't necessarily come to pass. It's just hard to dump CMike when the guy with the main job fails to impress even my extremely amateur analysis. Hell I WANT the guy to take the job and dominate this year and I can't bring myself to feel comfortable with him. I might keep holding unless there's an absolute surefire guy on the waivers that can provide immediate value.

I don't know if i can drop him. Haha I'm not going to argue that it's optimal at this point but while watching Randle and McFadden yesterday all I could keep thinking was CM would do better.

Def expensive keeping him and he almost can't pay back what he's cost most dynasty owners at this point.

It's certainly far from the best argument, but watching the game yesterday, Randle's actual performance was nowhere near as good as the FF box score would indicate IMO. I'm still not convinced that Randle is anything more than ordinary -- of course, the bulk of the evidence on Michael thus far suggests that he's well below ordinary, but Randle doesn't look like a long term answer to me at all. Randle may or may not be the long term solution but it's worth putting some context to the numbers. Atl sold out to stop the run after Dal blew them up in the 1st half. They dared Weeden and Dal to actually throw to the WRs in the 2nd half by stacking the box and running down hil at the snap. Dal/Weeden just never took advantage of it.

I ought Randle looked pretty electric on a few of those runs. Atl just created penetration into the backfield a ton later in the game.

they were great in the first half, maybe not even two full quarters, but Dallas could not run the ball (or pass downfield) in the 2nd half. Randal had 85 in 3 carries and less than 90 for the game. He came off as a change of pace back who is decisive when there is space, but dances when he has think a bit or should just power ahead for 3/4 yards. mcFadden looked he always has to me. that's what I think happened yesterday, but i stopped trusting my eyeballs over what the dudes in charge of the NFL think.

He doesn't have to look like Adrian Peterson doing it or be assured the job for the next 10 years. RBs come and go in this league. I am trying to win now and Randle gives you a chance to do that so long as he is healthy. If it makes you feel all warm, fuzzy, and smart then hold Michael. Just stop acting like he is the heir apparent to greatness because up to this point Mr. Harmon, his carries look like this: bench, bench, gatorade, restroom, bench, bench, hot dog vendor, restroom, bench, bench, cheerleader, bench, bench, home.

I personally don't think Michael's value has changed at all since his arrival in Dallas. Not sure why anyone expected him to make a splash right out of the gate, but the fact that he's not active a month after being traded doesn't mean anything IMO. Michael has always created unrealistic expectations among a minority of owners, but looking at this objectively his value shouldn't go down because Joseph Randle had a solid day.

That's why they call it a flyer or a sleeper. Acquiring Michael cost very little. Sometimes these pan out and sometimes they do not. He is cutable if you have other bye week needs. If you do not, hang on to him. Although, it will probably take something dramatic for him to get significant playing time.

Agree for the most part, although I would add that IMO he is hopefully capable of at least taking McFadden's role (assuming McFadden stays healthy LOL) -- but not until after the Cowboys' bye at the earliest. I do think that McFadden is pretty bad / used up at this point.

You guys are too much. When I picked him up, his drop timetable has been first week of Nov for me. And cec recommended the last week of Halloween if I'm not mistaken. Nothing has changed. If you picked him up expecting an immediate impact to save your season, you got the wrong guy. Cm is really only affordable to the teams that have a winning record or isnt plaggued by the seond round busts teams. And that tweet that told you to remove his first 3 best runs really meant, his ypc after that are downright Terrible, not even pedestrian.

A big part of the problem, is you have guys "pimping" in here who had invested way more then a sleeper pick.
