I'd do that in a heartbeat.19 for 27+60 would probably be that offer. Depends who they like at 19. It seems to be shaping up to OL, maybe LB, or dare I say WR...

they drafted so few players last year, it may be the way to go. they would still get two 1sts and 2 2nds in this draft.19 for 27+60 would probably be that offer. Depends who they like at 19. It seems to be shaping up to OL, maybe LB, or dare I say WR...
I assume Dallas' 3rd would go way outside the "value" zone.I'd do that in a heartbeat.19 for 27+60 would probably be that offer. Depends who they like at 19. It seems to be shaping up to OL, maybe LB, or dare I say WR...
Isn't 60 at the tail end of the 2nd Rd.?I assume Dallas' 3rd would go way outside the "value" zone.I'd do that in a heartbeat.19 for 27+60 would probably be that offer. Depends who they like at 19. It seems to be shaping up to OL, maybe LB, or dare I say WR...
Yes, I was going to ask ctsu if he'd do 1st and 3rd since he was all over the 1st and 2nd, but then assumed the value wouldn't be there so I didn't ask.Isn't 60 at the tail end of the 2nd Rd.?I assume Dallas' 3rd would go way outside the "value" zone.I'd do that in a heartbeat.19 for 27+60 would probably be that offer. They couldn't even more him for some substances.Say Cleveland gets Marcus. You think they could move Manziel for anything of substance to the Cowboys afterwards? Food for thought.
Been asking this about the thursday games for a few years now.So dumb. Why can't the NFL figure out to give teams a bye after a Monday night game or before a Thursday night game.Browns have a Monday Night game at home week 12 - right after the BYE week
Sounds like the league is just lazy and doesnt want to try and figure it out.NFL Director of Broadcasting Michael North was on Sirius XM NFL radio this morning discussing the challenges of putting the schedule together. So dumb. Why can't the NFL figure out to give teams a bye after a Monday night game or before a Thursday night game.Browns have a Monday Night game at home week 12 - right after the BYE week
one of the issues he spoke about was the Thursday night games and how to handle them. he stated in general, the best solution they found was to keep the Thursday night games separate from the team's Byes, and that the teams actually prefer it that way. he said that the teams almost consider them a mini bye week.
also, due to the way the Byes work, it would be impossible to put a bye week in front of every Thursday night game, and would disrupt the balance of the schedule if some teams had them and some didn't.
not sure if i'm being clear, but it was a great interview, and i wanted to try to share the gist of that part of it.
the bottom line is, with all of the factors that go into the schedule, i'm surprised that they even get it as good as it is, and the idea that they inentionally screw over any specific team is 100x more laughable to me today than it was yesterday.
The better aim you have, the better......................The more bullets you have, the better chance of hitting something
kiddingnot even a 6'er of Natty Lite? They couldn't even more him for some substances.Say Cleveland gets Marcus. You think they could move Manziel for anything of substance to the Cowboys afterwards? Food for thought.

Not me. I really like the picks we have in this draft. Eventually we have to quit moving back for more picks and use the ones we have for impact players. The better aim you have, the better......................The more bullets you have, the better chance of hitting somethingkidding
Yeah I would be thrilled to get 27/60 for pick 19. Doesnt seem like a very likely deal though, but stranger things have happened.
you really have a thing for mental midgetsRandy Gregory very much still in play at 12.
You mean eventually we need to hit on more than 10% of our 1st round picks? Not me. I really like the picks we have in this draft. After further review, the offer would be 27/91 for 19. I jumped the gun a little yesterday.ghostguy123 said:The better aim you have, the better......................The Man With No Name said:The more bullets you have, the better chance of hitting somethingkidding

Agree w/ everything here, though maybe keep the #19 and BPA. I do not want to dump 2 1st rounders (plus probably more) to take a risk on a qb.everything i've read it sounds like the price to move up is going to be too expensive.
their best bet is to sit where they are and draft BPA.
trading down to Dallas does sound interesting though.
i'm still pissed about the third they wasted to trade up to draft Manziel.
I doubt Tampa would trade him. He's a decent inexpensive Qb and those are hard to come by.I would like to see them trade for Glennon, if he can be had for a mid-round pick.
Hmmmmm, I would not do that deal now, would have to see who is left at 19. I wouldnt hate the deal, but I am 99.9% sure I would prefer to just draft at 19.After further review, the offer would be 27/91 for 19. Some recent and relevant history:
27/93 for 21
26/83 for 22
27/91 for 20
31/74 for 18
30/92/198 for 22
27/70 for 21
Let's throw in JFF to get 60!
I would blow out 5 best players and every 1st we have for the next 3 years on a great QB.Agree w/ everything here, though maybe keep the #19 and BPA. I do not want to dump 2 1st rounders (plus probably more) to take a risk on a qb.
LOL!ghostguy123 said:If we trade 12, 19, a 2nd, and 2016 1st for pick 2 (no matter who we draft) I am going to figure out who Soulfly really is and egg his house.
edit....I may just egg his house anyway for saying we should trade up for Mariotta

He is a projection, which makes many uneasy. I think those against it don't think he has a high floor. I think they're completely wrong. Will he hit his ceiling? Or come close to it?opinions seem to be all over the place on this kid.
i suppose it's rarer to have a player that everyone agrees is a clear #1, such as Luck.
He has the mental makeup and approach to realistically think he could. However, if he doesn't develop? He will still be at worst average. He isn't going to flat out bust.I think it's more probable of a move than trading up to #2.They can't be serious about trading for Bradford. I really don't see how thats any improvement over what we have now.
Giving up a first round pick for one year of Bradford (and let's face it, it could very well be less than one year with him) would be a horrific decision. Bradford has said he will not sign an extension with any team except for Philadelphia. Perhaps that's a bluff, but if they make that trade before signing him to an extension Farmer will show just how overmatched he is.They can't be serious about trading for Bradford. I really don't see how thats any improvement over what we have now.

That's the impression I get, too. The price is too high, IMO. 12 + 19, maybe. Maybe not.He is a projection, which makes many uneasy. I think those against it don't think he has a high floor. Why would that ruin the draft?Hope the idiot Browns dont ruin the draft by taking a RB
My fantasy draft. Why would that ruin the draft?Hope the idiot Browns dont ruin the draft by taking a RB
i also hope they don't take a RB cause they don't really need one.Hope the idiot Browns dont ruin the draft by taking a RB
Yeah, fire everyone, watch Alex Mack opt out, then Gipson and Taylor walk...that sounds like a great plan.I hate Johnny more than anyone, and Mccown's name appropriately rhymes with clown, but I want this:
- Draft at pick 12, there will be nice players there
- trade pick 19 for ideally a 2nd this year and 2016 1st
Go with Mccown week 1 unless Johnny beats him out. Put Johnny in by week 4 and just see what happens. 0-16??? So be it. Qb next year I guess, to go with the picks we are about to have plus a later 1st next year from trading pick 19 this year.
Or maybe Johnny doesnt suck. Longshot, but in either scenario I am happy
Easy. You're gonna pop a vein, LOL!Browns take Gordon OR Gurley at 19 and I am officially done being a fan.
I've gone through plenty in 30+ years, and that'd just be the last straw. SO SO SO many players that can help us in positions of need (get a damn o-lineman, or whatever), but taking an RB when we have 2 VERY capable ones, and one potential stud.. and that's it.
People #### all over the Browns, but forget that we were 7-9 last season, with the worst 1-2 QB combo in.... forever? toss in a few more pieces, or hell, move UP for mariota... give yourself a shot at a damn winning season.
RB!? RB!????
I can;t care if the ####### team itself doesn't care.
I wont pop anything. I'll just fold my membership.Easy. You're gonna pop a vein, LOL!Browns take Gordon OR Gurley at 19 and I am officially done being a fan.

Would you guys trade the second rounder for Adrien Peterson?
No. The child stuff aside he is a guy a win now team makes. Not us. I am wary he's on the down slope anyway. Gurley at 19 would be a good option but I think he gets picked sooner.Easy. You're gonna pop a vein, LOL!Browns take Gordon OR Gurley at 19 and I am officially done being a fan.

hey, you can't blame a Browns fan for already thinking we are playing for next year before the season even starts.Yeah, fire everyone, watch Alex Mack opt out, then Gipson and Taylor walk...that sounds like a great plan.I hate Johnny more than anyone, and Mccown's name appropriately rhymes with clown, but I want this:
