There are lots of threads on this board about cooking, and always a few about books.
But what about cookbooks? Anything you've gotten recently that you'd recommend?
A couple I've come to really like lately:
Roast Chicken and Other Stories: A Recipe Book
Asian Flavors of Jean-Georges
And a couple that I return to time and again:
The Joy of Cooking
Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home
Let's hear some recos.

Food Network in general, Good Eats specifically - Alton Brown does an interesting show, expecially because while making dishes he explains why he does everything, allowing those of us non-chefs to understand the recipies.

factor is off the chart on this one but this is the best thing I ever did for cooking:
It used to be included, maybe they changed it ... I guess I should ask Mr. MEH if we've been charged in our account for the online access
for me, as I'm trying to cook more. As I've been cooking recently, most of my recipes are online from allrecipes.com or foodnetwork.
If you like it, subscribe to the Americas Test Kitchen website and you can get every recipe and review. It really is a great resource.J
