I've elsewhere and frequently mentioned my profound weakness for Sylvian, starting early in HS with Japan and following his solo career that lost his Japan fans of my group (too boring, too self important, too pretentious).
His music has been a good friend to me since the 80s, from getting me through rough spots to celebrating good ones. He has a habit of making everything with an undercurrent of sadness...even his beautiful love songs like Wave. I don't usually do Taking the Veil, but it has a more Japany sound to it and felt good this morning.
I'm sure these will be play list skippers...don't care.
